The location was amazing and the amenities were perfect.

The staff were mostly all welcoming and very kind. the receptionists and housekeeping exceeded any expectations. However there was a gentleman who kept trying to convince me and my partner to take part in a presentation, promising a free cruise. Although enticing, it was very “in your face” and he couldn’t take no for an answer. He kept following us around trying to convince us even after we said we were busy. It’s one thing to ask kindly and another to pester annoyingly. It got to the extent of my partner and i praying that we would not run into him while trying to leave or enter the lobby. If there’s any reason why I would think again about booking another stay at the hotel, it would be due to him and his unprofessionalism.

Location and view off of the balcony was outstanding. Well within walking distance of lots of attractions and restaurants. It's also very centrally located, so an Uber to the Zoo or Old Town was around $10. Pool was very nice and there are two workout rooms adjacent to it. Staff was very helpful if we needed something for the room (coffee, towels, etc.)

The hotel is starting to show its age a bit. Room was nice, but we had a drawer that wouldn't stay closed when we put clothes in it, and the shower head was loose. Amenities on site were very expensive. A large bottle of water in the store in the lobby was $6:50. Lots of noise from the outside, but that should be expected on where it is located so close to Harbor Drive and the airport.

I liked that the rooms were spacious with a mini fridge.

that the rooms used to be shared rooms with doors in between… it threw me off.

We upgraded to a bay view room and it was worth it. We could sit on the balcony and watch life pass us by. Also my wife enjoyed watching the airplanes land and take off from the airport. She also love the "Beekman" toiletries provides as that is all she uses. Weather was perfect. The close proximity to the the Amtrak station is ideal for us as that is how we travel to San Diego and we get around by taking the trolley and also have the option of the Coaster, all from the train station. So all in all a perfect location!

Maybe provide us with a free bottle of water. A guide map to close attractions to visit. Some discount coupons for the Midway or a ghost hunt.

We had a room with a King size bed, ( comfortable) and a skyline view and a walk out balcony, it was pretty especially at night. We paid a little extra to get a room with an Ocean View, however it had 2 full size beds ( bummer), but it too had a balcony. I didnt bother the staff to change it, it was our last night there anyways. Amazing view, loved sitting out on the balcony watching soaking up the sun, feeling the cool breeze on my skin, watching the sunset, and listening to the water.

So, we were aware check-in was at 4pm, we arrived about 4:30ish, we were asked to wait 20 minutes (which felt almost like an hour) because our room hadn't been cleaned yet??? The hotel said they didn't have utensils, but suggested we go downstairs to the restaurant and ask them for utensils, really? ( at least have disposable ones on site!). I didn't like when we upgraded our room, they didn't ask if we wanted another king size bed. Oh, and I wasn't to happy with having to rent a microwave from the hotel.

Localization just by the marina so the view (extra paid) of the bay was spectacular. Walking distance from plethora of great italian restaurants (Little Itally). Clean and cosy. Did not order breakfast so cannot judge. Coffe packets in the room seemed fresh, I liked the cofee. But it was the view that did the job for us.

Parking costs 40 bucks extra. which I learned when checking in, also confusing way to get to the parking lot, and on top that the nfc card did not work the first time, so had to get a ticket. Minor inconvenience, but after 7 hour drive enough to make you grumpy. The quality of bathroom was mediocre, it is clean!, but needs refurbishment, e.x. rollers on the shower screen are eaten by rust so they do not roll making going in and out troublesome.

Armida was phenomenal she took care of my check in. She was kind, hospitable and knowledgeable about the hotel services and amenities If you want returning customer definitely keep her at the front desk and keep her happy Happy employees = Happy customers Location was perfect for us. Walking distance to many places, example food, attractions & if you wanted to get away from all the hustle & bustle you can come back to your room and relax from it all

Our linens had wholes in them not huge tears but big enough to notice and that was not a good experience. The restroom door in our room opened perfectly into the closet area and caused 2 of my family members to get their fingers stuck between the door and the wall and got fingers hurt

Excessive parking cost, pet fee, sliding bathroom door does not provide a privacy

Room was on the 2nd floor which was convenient. The room was nice and clean. Liked having a fridge and the free coffee even though we did not use it. Bathroom was clean and I appreciate the shower cap. Very quiet.

I asked for a room with a view. She said if we paid $20 per night we could so we declined. We were given room 204 which had a view of ac vents and other ugly fixtures and cigarette butts. I can deal with that but not far away was another part of the hotel with balconies facing our room. We could never have the curtains open because there where always people sitting on their balconies which made our room very dark with the curtains closed. That was a bit of a disappointment.
