Westgate Harbour Beach Resort

The heated pool and hot tub were very nice! The location Is great Room! Close enough to walk to Main st and the Boardwalk! Room with 2 bathrooms (one had a jacuzzi tub). Fold out couch was a plus! Kitchenette was very convenient, fully stocked w pots, pans, silverware. Coffee pot was very nice for morning coffee on our walks...coffee cups would be a nice addition. Staff was excellent to work with and answered all the questions I had before arrival.

How early checkout was...we had a later flight and had to waste the day because checkout was at 10 and we couldn't use the pool and didn't want to use the beach and be covered in sand with nowhere to shower before our flight home. Parking was also a bit tricky at times. It was during bike week so part of that is to be expected. It wasn't a deal breaker by any means. There are really no negative things to say. I would definitely stay here again!

Very clean facility, the sheets were clean, the towels were clean, the floors were clean, friendly and professional staff. Lanie Pocevic and John Anderson made our stay a pleasant one. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and helpful. Great customer service!!! The resort also had 2 bathrooms, spa tub, full kitchenette in which they provide the cups, cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, toaster, coffee maker, comfortable bed, separate keys to get in the exercise, Laundry, and pool area which made it a very secure place, the main entry doors were securely locked and a code is needed to gain access after certain hours, balcony has oceanfront view and oh the view was breathtaking. Very relaxing to hear the ocean waves and to see the sun rise and set while taking in a cool breeze. Sitting on the balcony also allowed us to meet new friends. The property also allowed us to check in early and did not cost us extra to do so. Only a $50 deposit is charged per reservation. I found that to be very reasonable when others we’re charging $200 and up. I would most definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

Early check out at 10 a.m. - if request they would allow an extra hour, parking -although we had no problem finding a place to park each night we were there, no long view dressing mirror

The staff is very friendly. The lady that checked us in went over everything we needed to know about the property (room keys, door keys, parking, etc.). The property was clean and had direct access to the beach. You had to use keys to get in the resort after a certain time which made me feel safe.

Even though they had a game room and exercise room; It was very few activities to do around the property in case you had to stay in due rain. I saw a sign for a Spa but it look like it was closed (may be due to COVID).

Great location, beautiful view, nice pool and staff was very friendly! It is very easy to get to the beach and you can see everything right from the room balcony. Gorgeous sunrise/sunset views. You are also given keys to access hotel and hotel areas after hours which was a great sense of security.

The bed was a spring bed and very uncomfortable by day two. Also, the room was pretty clean but the a/c vents on ceiling and the wall a/c units were so dusty. I coughed a lot due to the dust because I'm sensitive to it.

Somethings needed up dated Door to balcony did not lock, had a board to hold door close.......for 214.00 a night that was unexceptable. Some of the Blinds were missing to the balcony slide and balcony window......those things put a small Disappointment there. We had 2days there, so made the best of it.

It was so quiet ,we had oceanfront view so beautiful at night nice size room 2 bathroom everything we needed was there. The front desk ladies where good it's was a perfect location for us to enjoy 😉 my birthday 🎂

Now only thing I didn't like is who ever was in charge of cleaning our room either had a bad day or that's not the job for them 🤔 good thing I always re-clean my rooms wherever I go! But I still give it a 8 out10 will I go back sure

The staff are wonderful. The property is dated BUT I don’t plan on living there long term. It’s clean and that’s all I needed the week I was there. Convenient to most attractions. ALSO!! There was a wonderful staff member of color with the word STAFF on his back. He’s the Jack of all trades there. Never did get his name but he’s very dedicated to HBR. Hope to see him there again when we return.

The only downsides I could think of would be to make sure you get a parking space by 9 p.m and stay there if you want your vehicle parked on the property. Otherwise, you’ll have to park across the street in “overflow” parking. Lastly, the elevators are super slow. Not much fun waiting with a wagon full of beach toys tackling 2 children waiting for a door to open. Usually a long wait for an elevator at check in or when leaving the pool for the night. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and will be back for a 3rd time in 2023.

Staff was friendly courteous and helpful. Our villa was 203. The villa had everything you would need for an extended stay. The room was clean, all appliances were in excellent condition. The balcony was large with a small table and four chairs. The balcony was clean and well maintained. The view from the balcony to the ocean was amazing. The queen bed was comfortable and the pillows soft and fluffy. Pot, pans,dishes, silverware, glasses, laundry detergent was provided. The price was reasonably priced. Will definitely stay there again.

The room exceeded my expectations! Ocean view was great!

WE had a huge problem! our key would not let us in, it was 2 am in the morning, we tried every 800 number we could find. we had to go to a hotel for the night until morning. it was a disaster! the next morning we we able to straighten out the mess. they credited me the night but it put a huge amount of stress on me! I think the Resort would do well to put the emergency number on the instruction sheet they gave with the keys! Hopefully no one else has to go through the same thing! but the staff was great an once we got in our room we loved it!

I like the layout of the room with the full function kitchen and 2 bathrooms. jet tub was awesome. also like the security feature where you have to have a key for everything and the lobby door locks at night

needs some much needed repairs. we had a leak at the front window on floor 6 that looks like it’s been happening for a long time. bubbled ceiling from water damage
