AC Hotel by Marriott Tampa Airport

Absolutely love the location. Staff is super friendly and the hotel smells amazing. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. My go-to escape from reality. The pool was so nice and warm and the fire place area is awesome.

This was my third stay and the only stay where the shower essentials (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner) weren't restocked. When the sun was shinning in we noticed the comforter was notably dirty...strange because again this was my third stay and the other 2 where excellent and we had 0 complaints. Perhaps it's just the times and possible lack of cleaning staff.

We had to evacuate during Hurricane Ian and chose to stay at the A/C Hotel to ride out the storm. The staff (especially Sylvana and assistant general manager Amy!) was amazing, so friendly and accommodating. They served breakfast, lunch and dinner during the storm. The room was clean and spacious. The management let the staff and their families stay at the hotel and accepted pets. We really appreciated their generosity and they went above and beyond to make us feel safe and comfortable. Thank you again for everything!

I loved everything about this hotel. Check-in and check-out was about 2 mins, parking is very close. The hotel, common areas, elevators, rooms, etc…were extremely clean and our room was SPOTLESS and smelled nice. It’s also walking distance from great restaurants including Texas de Brazil which was also a great experience. Other restaurants and a mall are a quick car ride, maybe 4-5 mins. Staff was incredibly friendly, housekeeping came everyday (remember to tip housekeeping :) I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. This will be my new go to hotel when in Tampa 💜

Everything was perfect!

From stunning entrance to our room everything was beautiful maintained and updated. I have no real complaints. Definitely will be staying again.

Only issue was the lack of shower door. I understand the look they were going for but it just made a terrible mess of water all over the bathroom floor. We had to unnecessarily lay towels down in order not to slip.

I felt safe in the area being a single parent. The staff was very polite. The location seem 2 be safe. The location seem to be convenient to restaurants & store's including Walmart approximately 5 mins away. I believe I even seen a strip club in the area

I didn't like that there was no microwaves in the room. A microwave in the lobby was available. Also it should have been bigger trash cans or at least a trash bag available 4 large throw away items such as to go food containers. Shower water didn't get hot. I notified staff after the fact no biggie. Heard dogs barking a few times but nothing major

The room appeared clean however we found food and dog food on the floor and carpet from a previous stay. The bathroom sink overflow drain looks like it was never cleaned and the wall next to the toilet had a greasy hand print. Those things were minor so I didnt go to the front desk about it. Overall the room was great! Styling very modern. One of the elevators was out of service and sometimes the wait to catch the elevator was a little long.

The hotel is very clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and professional. This was our second visit at this hotel. We will go back.

We got to the hotel around 2:30. We requested early check in. We booked a king bed room and was told it would not be available until 4 or so. They offered us a double queen room that was available at that time. That was the only downside of our visit

The FREE shuttle from the airport was fantastic: Rod is super friendly & a great driver; even though his favorite football team is atypical for a Tampa resident! The desk staff is also very helpful and courteous. Room was spacious, clean & quiet. Location was nice for walking to nearby restaurants.

Breakfast was OK but could have been a little less expensive.

My wife and I are world travelers vloggers, but since COVID happened, we haven’t gotten out much, since the world is still shut down, we planned a local small getaway, and we do not regret it at all! Once we arrived to the AC hotel, Stephan in the front desk checked us in, then reach out to me later on and mentioned he enjoyed our content, that message and gesture alone made me and my wife’s stay memorable! (Thank you Stephan!) We enjoyed the Hotel, felt comfortable and near all the things you’ll need! Restaurants, a mall, breakfast, and of course not far from beaches!! Do not pass up on this place! They make you feel welcomed with their professionalism and great hotel!!

Everything was great!

Wow!! This is the best stay I've had at a hotel in the US!! The amenities were great, the location is perfect, wonderful service, and the decor is fabulous!! The rooms are calm, comfortable, and carpet-free (which I love)!! I also made it to the pool and gym and both were extra clean and inviting. The airport shuttle was extra convenient and the drivers were so nice!! I don't have anything negative to say!! I'm looking forward to staying here again in the future!!

I wish room service and the restaurant had more vegan options.
