Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta/Duluth/Gwinnett

Right from the jump, I liked how they had their carts accessible at the entrance. Staff were helpful and kind. The breakfast waffles flavors were different like Cinnabon or maple. The rooms were clean and I saw one of the hospitality staff members truly cleaning the rooms and putting effort into what they were doing.

We didn’t have someone check the rooms each day. Limited on towels available but I understand because of the conference going on that weekend had over 5000 people attending, many of the people were staying there.

Loved the atmosphere in the lobby and the breakfast was awesome, although it would have been better had the second waffle machine been working. Over all breakfast was tasty.

The only problem we ran into was the toilet bowl that didn't flush after the third time using it and the sink water was a dark grey color when we first opened the tap. The toilet was fixed in less than 5 minutes and the gentleman that resolved the issue was so kind and helpful. Also, had planned to get some snacks at the hotel store/vending machines and was disappointed to see there was no vending machines and little to no options in hotel store, it was almost empty.

There was only one thing that needed attention: the tub didn't drain well. During both my husband's and mine showers the water raised to almost half inside the tub and it took 10 minutes to clear after. Maybe it should be checked by housekeeping while cleaning the rooms, all they need to do is let the water on for a few minutes to make sure the water is draining well. Besides that everything was great. The staft very friendly and polite, the rooms clean as well as other parts of the hotel. Breakfast was good but could have a little more selection (maybe hard boiled eggs, packaged flavored oatmeal " instead of cooked" and grits, cinnamon rolls/danish, strawberry yogurt, English muffins, hash brown potatoes) Maybe not all at the same time but rotating them

The potatoes for breakfast instead of eggs on Monday April 18th. Wish the beds weren't so hight. I'm a short person and had to kind of jump to get in bed and slide out of bed

The staff at this hotel is extremely helpful. When we checked in we found that we had made reservations for the wrong day. The receptionist was very helpful and courteous. We made the reservation through booking.com and they charged us for the cancellation. When we contacted Gregory, the manager, he was very considerate and solved our problem to our great satisfaction. We'd be very happy to stay at this facility again, it was clean, comfortable and has an excellent staff.

The location was excellent and nearby where I needed to be, and in close proximity to many shops, stores, and restaurants. My room was very clean and met my expectations for a nice, comfortable weekend getaway.

Room didn't have a microwave, and I did have to wait a couple hours after check in for a replacement remote for the TV, but after that was taken care of, everything else was great.

The staff was very nice and greeted us with smiles. The room was very comfortable as I traveled with three children as 9 and 10 and they loved the room.

The food was good I just wish there were more options for the kids. They wanted more eggs pancakes and toast. They loved the potatoes

They charged me for another hotel stay( I had already PAID on Booking.com $120.31) and it automatically came out of my bank account and no one act as if they knew how to give my money back !!! The hotel charged me for $190.66 . I want my money as quick as they took it out. But that's a negative. Janet said that she would refund my money back to Mell

Poor lighting in the lobby. The lobby area needs renovation, the breakfast was okay. There was a problem with the internet and no back up was accessible to the guests. The pool area needs an upgrade also. The telephone in my room did not work.

The room was extremely comfortable for my family. The breakfast was hot and good. They gave us extra towels and made sure we had everything we needed.

Because we paid in advance they held a 50 dollar credit on our debit card. It took almost 10 days for them to release the money. They could of told me that upfront instead of just doin it and then telling me after the fact.

The property and our room was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly . The location was fantastic!! There's more than enough restaurants and stores nearby. We will definitely stay there again. The breakfast was ok.

The hotel ran out of coffee one afternoon. They had it the next morning.
