Clarion Hotel and Conference Center - Joliet

We were on a cross country trip and so we arrived after midnight. Im glad they have front desk 24/7, we were able to check in smoothly. we had to stay til 12pm as we needed extra hr sleep, so we paid extra $15 for extending an hour. they remodeled the building and it was better!

the lady at the front desk said she’ll refund me the $15 that was charged since I think we only stayed there for few hrs (4:30am to 11:30am lol) we got the deposit refunded, but the $15 still haven’t receive it. but it’s okay, it was a pleasant stay anyway!

Check in desk employee was chatting with another employee who was “hanging out”, waiting for Chipotle delivery. I wasn’t informed of breakfast times or food/bar availability. Was not personal customer service.

Comfy bed, lots of pillows without having to request more.

Due to Covid safety measures, all the facilities were close, which is understandable, but means I can't really rate it on that. Overall the room was nicely clean, with the exception of the coffee pot which hadn't had the used coffee pods removed.

Needed a quick stay for the night while passing through, made the reservation while driving down the road. They had parking to accommodate us with the camper that we were hauling, so if you are traveling with a large truck & trailer they have parking. The room was clean & the bed was overall comfortable. Overall it was a great stay for the price.

The shower did not drain very well. Was standing in about ankle deep water while in the shower.

The location was perfect. It's close to shopping centers and restaurants. Very affordable and the staff were very friendly.

I don't have anything to say bad about my experience .

I had been broke down on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. The tow truck driver highly recommended the Clarion rather then the two next to it. It was 1am in the morning when i checked in. The clerk was so nice and got me all set up.

Without a vehicle it is not in the best area to be walking places, however in the daytime I knew I was safe.

The staff was so friendly and polite. They made us feel so welcomed. It was so clean. They have games machines in the lobby which i thought was neat. We didn't eat the breakfast due to an early start but next will try it

I wish I could have stayed a little longer but it was just a bit outside my price at that time.

The location was easy off I80 and had a lot of selection for supper. The room was clean and comfortable.

The lamp next to the bed did not work, no way to plug it in. The clock was not able to be plugged in to a light socket.

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean.

No swimming. Ice machine didn't work most of the time. Never got a receipt. Machine was down when we checked out, said they would email but never got one.

two things were not working the microwave and the hairdryer they should be updated
