Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel

1. Great location very close to the airport. 2. Clean room and bathroom 3. Shuttle service to the airport 4. Very kind and professional staff - we had an issue with our credit and debit cards during check-in (transactions declined by the bank). Quite stressful for us, especially that it was 1 am and our small kids were almost asleep on the lounge sofa. the staff were very polite, still allowed us to check in even if our cards didn’t work, advised us to contact the bank and come back with payment next morning. It all worked in the end, very grateful for their kind and professional attitude

Amazing staff, especially the bellman that is very kind and helpful, and a truly a good guy. I needed a lot of help with mobility due to being disabled, and I was not familiar with the area, so I was having a hard time. The bellman went above and beyond and I wouldn't have been able to make it to Amtrak on time if it wasn't for his kindness in helping me find handicapped accessible transportation. Thank you all for helping my bad day turn into a good day. And the suites are amazing, very comfortable beds, and extra large rooms. AMAZING FOOD TOO!! One of the best meals I've ever had, and it was even via room service. A very kind, professional delivery man also.

The bus that has the handicap accessibility needs to be fixed. Many disabled people can't step up steps, even just one is tough for some.

I really liked the tiled walk in shower with the rain shower fixture. The beds were comfy. The hotel was stylish with a high ceilinged dramatic lobby. The hotel shuttle was convenient. We were able to check out slightly late after making a request to the front desk. The server in the restaurant accommodated us when we asked to sit in a closed off section of the restaurant that was safer for us in terms of covid.

The margarita from the bar was made with a mix-- true craft cocktails are made from scratch. But for a mix, it was pretty tasty. I also wish they offered outdoor seating for eating even if I had to carry my food outside.

Excellent staff and service. They were able to accommodate us last minute too when American Airlines ended up stranding us in Chicago for two days during the holidays. They were even able to get us clean laundry with their dry cleaning service on Christmas Eve.

Some of the food was beautiful, but really didn’t taste good. An example, their pizza looked so beautiful, but was so flavorless that neither me my son ate more than a bite or two and most of it ended up in the trash.

I loved where the property was located and how gorgeous it was. It was right in the middle of town and by the airport so I loved it because we could watch the planes come in and out. I love doing that. It was also an easy checkin and the staff was great!

Everything was fine. If I had to mention one thing it would be that the water pressure was low and the hot water took a minute to get hot. other than that I loved the hotel!

besides one of the bellhop men, front desk staff seemed uninterested and annoyed at helping with the parking validation(which wasn’t clear instructions when it came to leaving) and missing keys. I requested a box fan and there was none at property. a guest around our room was singing and talking so loud and could hear through vents in bathroom.

No doorman (helps with luggage and get tips) to help us/seniors with luggage before 7am. Unfortunately we've to take 7am shuttle to the airport. My husband has Parkinson and has to use a walker to walk. I've to push the luggage cart all by myself and no help from the front desk men, one of them told me that the doorman's shift starts after 7am. Fortunately the shuttle bus driver saw us and helped us a lot after we got out of the front door.

Hotel has a free shuttle service to/from the airport that runs every 15 minutes. It's 10 minutes between hotel and airport. Shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful. Hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable. Staff were all friendly. Safe area to stay with several restaurants on site and a outlet mall within walking distance. Highly recommend.

I would have liked a better price.

Room was so well-appointed. Nothing superfluous, but everything essential. Love the "closet" area; everything is accessible. The desk was easy to jump right into work with handy outlets and USB ports. I didn't find the mini-fridge until I was leaving, which was nice that it was unobtrusive, but if I'd needed it, I might not have known it was there. :) (Wish I'd seen the robes before I checked out, too... although I might have just skipped my flight to enjoy them longer.) The door to the bathroom slides, rather than take up floor space. The rainfall shower was refreshing after a cold day of travel. Everything was just as it should be. Also loved the fact that I was able to take the shuttle to/from the airport. (Pro-Tip: If you're arriving internationally or on Southwest, you have to notify the hotel that you'd like to be picked up at door 5E in Terminal 5 and depending on when you call, it could take 15-25 minutes. If you're departing from Terminal 5, allow an extra 10-15 minutes on your commute back to the airport; you'll be the last stop.)

This has nothing to do with Loews but I didn't like that Cook Country required a vaccine card to eat in the restaurant (some people—under doctor's care—has been advised not to take it for medical reasons). Fortunately, my group already had dinner plans outside the county.

The hotel front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was nice. The room price was great. The location was easily accessible. Two great restaurants within walking distance for a nice dinner.

The room should have been dusted prior to a guest staying in the room. Dust particles in different areas, such as the restroom and the keurig. It appeared that the room accumilated the dust from not being used. Lack of food choices for breakfast and room service. The room did not get cold even though the ac was in its lowest feature, 65.
