Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago/Waukegan

I liked the customer service, the place was clean, landscape in the back by the pool was nice.

The Breakfast was just ok. I believe my breakfast experience was less then pleasant because it was crowded and the staff didn't keep up with restocking the food and the waffle line was super long. As far as my room I give that 2 stars because the bathroom door was a sliding barn door and 5 mins after I get in my room I slammed my thumb in the door trying to close the door but the handle goes way past the a reasonable stopping point and It busted my thumb open so that sucked. Ruined my whole day.

Bed was clean, mattress very comfortable, big bathroom (a huge plus), great water pressure, good location for highway access, safe location, close to retailers/entertainment/restaurants

The parking spaces are very small, makes getting in and out of vehicles a bit difficult. The ac in our room was LOUD. Something was rattling inside it every time it came on.

Did not eat breakfast

I didn’t like that they charge u for parking at the hotel. I did not like that they did not have vending machines. I did not like the $150 fee they charge upon arrival. Some people aren’t blessed and that fee was a bit excessive.

It was great! everything was clean and well stocked.

I called to talk to this hotel about booking and prices. This hotel was in the Navy List of places to stay. The staff when I called was rude and hung up on me 2 times. (They would not honer the prices I had been given or even talk to me about the Navy prices)However I booked online with a booking company for a good rate. I would have stayed somewhere else due to the rude phone calls but I had family already staying at this location.

I loved the breakfast, the beds were very comfortable, the TV is decent, the bathrooms and towels are very clean.

The pool was very dirty. At one point I saw a bunch of hairballs in there so I hopped out and ran to the shower. The bathroom inside the pool area is very cold and dirty, which isn’t surprising but still.

Perfect location to Six Flag Great America and great restaurant options surrounding. Easy access to highways and super friendly staff that gave recommendations for eating and extras we needed for our room (e.g. towels). I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was not fantastic, but the best we had on our vacation (we stayed at 4 different hotels throughout our travels). Ultimately, I’m sure if we weren’t living in a pandemic with so many restrictions and limitations, the breakfast would have exceeded our expectations, as everything else did.

I loved the staff! They were exceptionally helpful.

I know housekeeping is at a premium because of covid. I would have enjoyed a bathroom refresh after a few days, but it wasn’t really a problem. The staff were great to help me whenever I could get to the desk to ask. I felt they did very well. Excellent people work in this hotel!

It was a typical Hampton Inn. It is our preferred hotel whenever we travel. I really liked the exercise room and the refrigerator and microwave in the room.

I appreciate that there is coffee available in the lobby, but it was lukewarm all but once when I got some.

The location to RTC for my suns gestation was perfect. The beds were big enough and comfortable. The breakfast was good. I really like the fact they had the grab and go option also on the day of graduation. Even though I didn’t see it. My sister told me about me about it..

The city needs to fix potholes in the posting lot. The hotel itself was great.

The property was nice and clean. The room had a fridge, nicely sized, and beds were comfortable . The breakfast was plentiful with good options. The freeway was close as well as dining options. The Casino, if that’s your thing was walkable.
