Evergreen Valley Inn0

I had to overnight there in advance of picking my daughter up from a local camp. I was very impressed and pleased with the Inn. I had expected a normal sized room for one person. Instead, I had a room with two hide-a-beds and a loft! What a pleasant surprise. When I arrived and checked in, I was personally escorted to my room and shown around. A nice touch. The facility has clearly been around for a long time and has not been updated recently. Personally, I like that it's not luxurious. In talking to some of the other guests, this is a location that they have visited since the mid-1970s. It's a family tradition for them. Lots of activities nearby. In short, I will return with my family in the future.

I wish I could have stayed longer. WiFi was slow, but I was told that because they were full, that would be the case. It needs more people to come so they can afford some maintenance and upgrades.

The location was in the center of many outdoor activity options. A 20 minute drive lead us to many great hiking trails, lakes, rivers and small towns. the staff were very friendly, greeting us and giving great tips on out of the way special spots to explore.

The only thing to make it better would have been a swimming pool to cool off after great hikes.

We went up for snowmobiling, very impressed that the trails were accessible from property, I believe if better info explaining that on web page, that would bring more customers to the Inn. We really enjoyed our stay and staff were friendly!

Free ice would be a big plus, definitely need a ice machine. The fireplace area should be cleaned up a bit, wasn’t a big fan of the mouse trap in plain sight😂 carpet in stairway to second floor near check in could use a cleaning, big stain. But don’t get me wrong, we’ll be back….location was great and room was very comfortable and roomy heat was great also. Snowmobile trails were outstanding, we snowmobiled 200 miles that weekend and did not have to trailer them. Thank you, Chris Nadeau

We stayed at the Evergreen Valley Inn expecting a rustic-style cabin atmosphere. We found that and learned it was also a well-appointed time-share style facility with a huge great room with a fireplace, free coffee in the lobby, and other extras we did not expect. Our King suite had not only a very comfortable and clean bed but also two full bathrooms and a full kitchen (albeit rustic) that well suited our "camper" style of travel. Don't let the "I'm driving into a horror movie" dirt road arrival scare you away - this gem is hidden in the woods is worth the drive which is quite lovely and scenic by daylight. For an obviously small, privately own operation, the late-night check-in was friendly and informative.

I think some guests who have 5-star expectations might appreciate more modern facilities and that guests who have difficulty lugging their luggage and climbing stairs will find the place outdated and not accessible. We found it to be quaint, comfortable, and quiet.

Secluded, great place to get away from it all. Very friendly staff, owners and other guests. A totally unique experience. Lots of communal spaces. Units have private kitchens and everything you need. Go shopping beforehand. Use of gas BBQ ($2) and fires. Loved our stay here. The space is rustic, which gives it it’s charm.

Nothing we didn’t like.

The staff is 20 out of 10 let me tellll ya folks. This is a snowmobilers paradise. Great place for a guys trip or with family and friends. Bring YOUR FOOD AND BEERS ahead of time since there’s a full kitchen in every unit and no dominos for the city cats. Trail on access. Place is squeaky clean.

Nothing- place slaps- i like the outdoors- slap a nice lil ski bar in there and take my money!

I liked the playground and the many beds and the three levels. I liked that we were close together and that we had a grill to use. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The first night was extremely hot but after running the AC the next night was comfortable but maybe the AC should be turned on in preparation of someone coming because it took soooo long for it to cool down. I did appreciate the extra box fans!

We only stayed one night but will totally be going back. Very comfortable and reasonable. Nice folks as well!!!

Only thing I could suggest is better signage to direct you there. Also, no cell service and no landline in the room was a bit worrisome. If something should happen to a person in the room with no form of outside communication, could be tricky.

The Murphy bed was a unique experience and having access to a kitchen made staying here more affordable as you could cook yourself food so as not to have to spend money going out to eat

The facilities are extremely isolated without cell reception.

donuts and coffee were available in the lobby. we didn't spend much time at the facility itself and were kind of surprised at how far out in the woods it really was. No complaints just surprised.

I wish the internet service was better as I had schoolwork to do in the evenings but was not able to do much as the wifi was very slow.
