Hyatt Place Boston/Seaport District

From the moment I arrived every associate that I met went above and beyond to make me feel like it was my 15th time staying there..accommodations were excellent ..the breakfast was excellent..the staff was excellent..Mary Margaret was awesome..thank you to all of you.. I'll be back as soon as I can..

For the price point maybe some bottled water in the room would be a nice addition...also a lot of the help is gathered outside the front door talking and smoking when you pull up...it doesn't look good if you're a woman traveling alone..

Location is excellent with beautiful views of the Boston harbour from the 2nd floor and rooftop terraces. We were four people staying in a standard room with one King size bed. Room was clean and modern. Gym facilities on top floor are good with both weights and exercise machines with - as an added bonus - a unique view of the harbour.

The sofa-bed in the room was uncomfortable as it only has a thin and relatively narrow mattress which is sloped inward making uninterrupted sleep difficult. There was also a gap between the bed and the sofa backrest. Breakfast is a rather noisy affair - installing some noise absorbing panels in this area would be a good investment.

Great staff, great breakfast options! It was clean. Location was ok. A little outside of the city attractions we wanted to do but the front desk staff was able to help us with figuring out the public transportation that got us everywhere we wanted to be. It was a nice and safe area just a bit of a walk to things like the freedom trail, Fenway, Paul revere house, etc. the beds and pillows were so comfortable! A tip for other travelers- book parking in advance at the lot around the corner. You really don’t need your car in Boston and you can save loads of money

I really appreciated the friendliness and promptness of the staff during my stay! I also liked the location a lot. It was close to the airport, as well as to the business locations where my attendance was required. The rooms were tidy and there were plenty of outlets for the number of devices I had.

During my first night, there was one point where there was a plumbing scent. Since I wasn't in the room for long, it wasn't much of an issue and it went away the next day. I think the only other point that led to confusion for me is where I should check out my items from the hotel's store. There wasn't anyone manning the location, so I wasn't sure if I should wait or go to the front desk to check out. I was able to check out at the front desk (which is adjacent to the store), but a sign would have been helpful. :)

We liked pretty much everything. The room was spacious and clean. We did receive an upgrade to a suite on check-in, which was very nice. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The "included in your room rate" breakfast was really quite good. There was quite a large selection for what it was.

The only thing that was a little disappointing was that there was a small kitchenette area in the suite, and there was no cutlery or dishes in it. We weren't really interested in using them, but others may find it disappointing.

Staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, especially the front desk staff and two members of the bar staff who were very helpful in trying to solve a wifi issue. Rooms were clean, breakfast was very good. Rooms were very well soundproofed. Staff were very accommodating to a family with a service dog. Parking across the street was convenient and reasonably priced.

A/C unit in room was very loud at times. We would've liked a little more pressure in the shower head. Beds could've been a little firmer.

The rooftop lounge was an excellent view - the saving grace of the hotel. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and modern. Very nice room

I've stayed in NYC for less money and in nicer hotels. Not sure if it is a Boston thing, but this hotel seemed overpriced for what it was. The Breakfast was Very Average - Same exact quality as a Best Western or La Quinta but this hotel was 4 times the price.

Hotel was very clean. The location was great for our needs. Plenty of places to eat within 5 to 10 minutes walking. Very easy for Ubers to get in and out. Front desk staff was very friendly and very helpful. We messaged the hotel ahead of time and they were able to book us in early. It was great because we arrived to Boston in the morning. The breakfast was good. I would not say it was high quality, but it was not bad. However, for an included hotel breakfast, it was very good. Scrambled eggs, hash brown potatoes, sausage, different breads for toasting, cold cereals, milk, and orange juice. It is also 2 minute walk away from J Pace and Sons which has delicious breakfast and lunch options. Yankee Lobster is across the street. Delicious seafood. I do like that you need the key card to get to the room floors. Our room had a microwave with a mini fridge and a sink in the kitchenette area. The bed was firm but comfortable. The pull-out couch was also comfortable but very difficult to pull out. On the lobby level there is a very large lounge area with plenty of seats and even televisions if you want to watch. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the seaboard district

Honestly, I can't think of anything I did not like about the hotel. It is definitely first on my list of places to stay when I return to Boston.

Nice new hotel. A decent size gym. Very good location, close to the airport (no noise though from the Logan Airport though) and very nice surroundings. Lots of restaurants and bars. Very nice neighborhood to be in.

The gym's eliptical machine was broken. Needs repair. The price was outrageous for a 3 star hotel but again, all the hotels in that area around that time (first week of December) were outrageously priced. For comparison, the 3 star hotel was equally or more priced than Hyatt Regency in Downtown Chicago. What really displeased me was the "complimentary late checkout" of... 30 minutes after 12 o' clock. I thought that was a joke but the front desk was not kidding. I found that a bit strange - I never stayed at a hotel that was so "generous" with the late checkout.

The location was amazing! Across the street from the water, and the concert venue. Plenty of restaurants and a convenient/deli right down the street. Staff were friendly and informative. Valet parking was very convenient. Rooftop restaurant was nice as well.

We didn't care for the breakfast options. Were hoping for yogurts and breakfast sandwiches to take back to our room. There weren't any lids for the to go coffees. This is nit picking. Everything else was great!
