Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Springfield Holyoke

We arrived after hours. We were welcomed by a not-so-professional receptionist. We were guided to the back entrance to make things easier for us with our luggage, as it was pouring rain. The room was clean and well-equipped. I loved the lit-up mirror in the bathroom. The price of the room was correct. In the morning there was a wonderful breakfast buffet, served in an open-spaced, well-decorated lobby. There was easy access to the freeway

Our bedroom was situated directly across from a stairway exit. Each time someone came through, the door banged shut and startled me. Thankfully I found earplugs in my suitcase in the early hours of the morning...

The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at - staff was amazing !!

Very friendly and helpful staff at check-in and in the morning for breakfast. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the hotel was easily accessed from the highway. We chose this place because of the other great ratings and reviews -- you won't be disappointed!

Excellent staff when we checked in late evening - she was excellent. Really cheered us up after spending an extra two hours sitting on plane in DC.

Nice breakfast, later...coffee and tea available in the lobby throughout the day. Nice indoor pool and very nice and accommodating personnel.

They increased the price by double when they have a more than normal demand day. I can see a 50.00 increase, but to jack it up by 125.00 was too much.

As it's a new facility, everything is clean and nice. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices with abundant condiments. The long hours availability of hot tea and coffee station also came in handy. The hotel is within walking distance to a large mall that has a great food court and other restaurants around.

Since there is central AC in the building, we turned off the individual AC in our room, thinking that it was quite a waste of energy and not environmentally friendly. Maybe the hotel could make this choice more obvious?

Staff member was very friendly when I checked in early. Water pressure in the shower was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the crustless quiche.

Only complaint I had was the amenities. The pool was tiny and two of the three treadmills were broken.

We stayed here for five nights while visiting family in the area. Excellent location near the mall and highway. The room was comfortable, especially the bed! There was also a microwave oven which was convenient. Breakfast was included and had good variety of choices. Staff was friendly and helpful!

The breakfast fruit could be better…. but this is really nit-picking.

Excellent location in Holyoke and amenities. A full complimentary breakfast was offered. The Staff attentive. Rooms were large and clean. We enjoyed the gym and pool.

Beds could have been more comfortable.

Coffee all day long. Breakfast buffet. The easy way to Interstate. What to say...all in all it was a very good week.

Matress and pillows are too soft but of course this is an individual feeling.
