Drury Inn & Suites Detroit Troy

I LOVED how they offer a snack in the evenings for kids (popcorn) while adults get their 3 complimentary on the house drinks from the bar. They also not only serve free breakfast but a free evening meal as well!! Staff was very kind! The man I had talked to at front counter was also from Tennessee and was very helpful and friendly. We have stayed at ALOT of hotels Traveled ALOT and this is by far the BEST place. I'll be looking around for more Drury Inn's!

There was nothing I did not like about the place! Great place with or without kids. We have 3 kids that loved it! Ages 9-11

Everything at this hotel was excellent! All of the staff we encountered were friendly and personable. The hotel and guest room were exceptionally clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was well-stocked and fresh. The included evening dinner buffet and complimentary drinks was a nice surprise! We ended up staying an extra night because we forgot some property in our room and had to return after already driving a couple of hours. When we called the hotel, manager Kait went up to our room and retrieved our property and had it at the desk when we got back. We decided to stay another night and Kait hooked us up with a room upgrade! And we got to enjoy the free dinner buffet and drinks! Definitely made up for us having to go back to get the stuff we forgot. We will definitely stay at this hotel again and will seek out Drury properties in our travels!

Kick back is a great option. Breakfast was good. Coffee was real good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great experience with Kimmesha at the front desk.

More options at dinner help dress up the main dish (pulled pork) coleslaw, larger buns, better selection of condiments for the sandwiches. The public bathroom had urnie on the floor and feces on the toliet.. Bed was not good..

This place was incredible!! It was our first stay at a Drury Inn and we booked it because of the great reviews. My sister, her 2 daughters and I were on a girls weekend and this place looked perfect. Upon arriving, the staff was so personable, friendly and helpful. Our deluxe, 2 queen bed room was clean, attractive and the beds were comfortable. There were many amenities to enjoy but we were so impressed with the complimentary breakfast AND dinners buffets. The breakfast had a variety of items, both hot and cold and the kickback dinner (from 5:30 to 7:00pm) was delicious. We also got FREE alcohol drinks along with our dinners. SO AMAZING !!!!! We did not have to eat at a restaurant, which saved us money. The weekend flew by and we were sad to leave. From now on when we travel, we will stay at DRURY INN. We would rate them 5 STAR QUALITY all the way!

No negatives at all!

We came after the time that the snacks and drinks are served, but they still have some reasonable options available for purchase at a reasonable price up to midnight. They have snacks, single serve pickles, beers and soft drinks available. Beds were decent, rooms were clean. Staff was friendly.

I wish they could have given us the on the house snack and drink even though we arrived at a later time. We still paid the same price for the stay as those that arrived earlier. The items were right there and available for purchase, so it's not like there was any added inconvenience involved. Just a matter of charging us the extra $7 or not. Not a big deal, but would have been a nice touch.

Room was clean, Staff personable & as I wondered to the Business area at 4am to print out directions, the attendant was pleasant & resourceful in assisting me find available coffee & clarify how the printer operated. Courtesy/free Evening ‘Snacks’ were well received by me and other guests, albeit did not include White Zin as a wine choice, which is the only wine I drink... so only a minor disappointment. Breakfast options plentiful, Staff personable and all questions/needs were met.

I purchased food at the on-site restaurant, and was disappointed in the quality of the Club sandwich, most of which I tossed. - Will likely choose a different eating milieu when I return to the Drury Inn & Suites

Everything was great ! I went to visit family. When I walked back in the door at Drury . I felt like I was coming back to my home away from home. The staff greeted me each night and asked me how my day was and wished me a good night.

I wish the bathroom had an exhaust fan .

Everything was delightful. Room was perfect and quiet. I always stay at this hotel when I come into town. The staff is always very helpful and very friendly! Breakfast is always delicious!

The only thing that I missed, this time around is my favorite lady at the check in. I don't know what happened to Allison. I missed her this time around. She had been there since we ( when I traveled with my husband ) first came to stay with your facility. I hope that she is still with you, because she was such a pleasure to always see upon arrival!

The hotel was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. The fitness room was nice with all the equipment for a great workout! The 5:30 kickback had some delicious selections: pulled pork sliders, delicious steamed hot dogs with warm soft buns, nachos, chicken noodles soup, salad, baked potatoes, pork and beans, with all the trimmings! I didn't go swimming but the pool and hot tub was open. I had a spa tub in my room and boy did I enjoy that. I would come back. The breakfast didn't disappoint either. Sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese, different Danish, homemade waffles, biscuits, white gravy, home fries, juices, and cereal. Just to name a few.

I didn't have trash bags in any of the cans. Two of the pillows didn't have pillowcases on them. And the dresser drawers had juice or something sticky spilled all down it. The knobs were also dirty. Upon check in there was a group of people in the dining area who were very loud and inconsiderate of anyone entering the hotel. Also it was loud several other times down there.

There was a complimentary snack and bar from 5:30-7. Each room had 3 complementary adult beverages... that was nice. The soda fountain was open all day and the kids liked that. We played card games and hung out in the lounge area after the pool closed. They were able to get drinks as they liked. Pool and hot tub were nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Wifi was good. Breakfast was good.

Not a good place if you are looking for a quiet stay. Lots of families and kids. It worked for us, but I can see it not being the best for a solo traveler.
