Location. I felt safe traveling alone. The room was beautiful. The staff was amazing and so kind. The food at the restaurant was amazing with wonderful staff.

The ants. I was taken care of at check out but still disappointed that a high end hotel had ants. I didn't find the thermostat until the last night and wish I could have located it sooner. I woke up sweating each night due to being accustomed to sleeping at a much cooler temperature.

Oh the elegance! From the old world exterior charm to the opulent interiors and high end art located literally everywhere, this hotel is a stunner. We were greeted warmly by the entire staff of the property and treated like royalty. The room was a standard size for a king but the bathroom was very well appointed and we loved the large soaking tub with wooden doors that opened to the room. The bed was extremely comfortable and we ordered dessert room service and were not disappointed. The location just cannot be beat with a Starbucks across the street as well as the entrance to the Biltmore (we stayed here for the Land Rover Owners Day Experience). Make sure to eat at the Red Stag Grill!!! What a fabulous meal with the most attentive wait staff. A truly memorable occasion. We were sad to leave. Absolutely will be staying again in the future. I should have gone to each floor to meander around the halls to view the art. Next time!

Although the bathroom was gorgeous, the shower was a little small for what you would expect at a luxury hotel. I realize this was because of the space taken up by the soaking tub. We also would have appreciated free bottles of water in the room instead of smaller 4 dollar bottles. Most hotel chains now provide 2 free bottles per night, I travel quite frequently for work and that is fairly standard.

we were excited to stay and upon arriving the gentleman who was taking our luggage let the luggage rack go and it got away from him and went running in to the side of our car 🤨 he said he would report the incident and we never heard anything 🤨then he said he would bring our luggage to our room and never showed - we had to call back down and someone else delivered our luggage ! My husband had already tipped him so hope he shared with the person who actually delivered our things ! we tip for great service and this definitely was not the case ! when you stay in a hotel such as this you expect more - first impression is everything ! this was not a great impression !

Olde world eclectic decor was different than sterile conventional hotel rooms. The huge soaking tub was very relaxing.

The hotel was split between a very busy intersection. Waiting for traffic light was long. Torrential rain that day. You have to walk across the street to the main lobby, front reception, valet park, shop and eat if you stay in the Manor House section.

Everything was great! It was a little price but that is what is expected with a beautiful hotel and excellent service. The style was unique, which we both loved. We will be staying again.

The only thing was the toilet door was transparent. My wife and I love each other tremendously! But there are times that we want privacy and would suggest changing the glass door to the toilet.

Service throUghout the facility was great

the walk across the very business intersection to our room. Considering we were under the assumption that we were staying at the main building when we booked it, and shocked when they told us our room was across the street, obviously, that was because I have vertigo and Parkinson's, making it tough to walk across the street. Also, the room wasn't that nice. Only one chair in the room, and the setup of which the bedroom was separated from the bathroom by a shelf-high drape beside the tub, made it very unappealing. When someone got up to use that room, you could hear their every move, especially when the used the toilet. One other

The food was delicious. The valet service, room cleaning ladies, front desk personnel all were awesome.

Sometimes we had to wait to cross the street. A few times it was really cold and windy and we got really cold. My husband uses a cane, so that was a little harder for him to cross.

The Front Dest is the Center of the Hotel experience and us the guests we have the most interactions with the Front Desk. Unfortunately we had a Gentleman with a very poor attitude, short temper with us, giving us the impression that he didn’t care to help us but he had to do that because is part of his job. He gives us the impression that we were bothering him. For us was extremely disappointed and uncomfortable to see him every morning or even asking him anything. We were extremely disappointed to see people like that in Guest Services taking care of the guests. Everyone else at the Front Desk was very nice however that particular Gentleman ruin the Front Desk experience for us our entire stay.

Such a nice place to stay, pleasant clean and relaxing. Restaurant good. Good service in valet and Restaurant.

The hotel staff at front is professional but boderline insincere , seems forced. Some mistakes on bill and charging.

The hospitality was beyond compare. We were made to feel like the most important guests during every interaction. The room service breakfast was delicious. The Red Stag Grill was divine! The hotel itself was stunning and the artwork everywhere was absolutely beautiful.

Our room was not in the main building, which was not made clear during the reservation process. They did offer to move us to the main building at check in but it would have meant giving up a king bed for two queens so we declined. The room was still lovely, but we could hear the neighboring room’s television through the wall well into the night.
