Hyatt Place Charlotte Arrowood

The location was great for our needs the breakfast was okay. Food was not hot just lightly warm could have been heated more.

The carpet in our room was damp on several areas, not sure if it had recently been shampooed or what happened. So we had to wear shoes so our socks did not get damp. Also several of the lamps did not work. In the closet area there was no lighting because no bulb or light just did not work. The two lights behind sofa did not work and they were plugged in. The coffee maker did not work. The carpet was shredded going into bathroom and carpet nails were sticking up. This all is minor issues and will not keep us from giving the hotel another stay if ever in the area. I hope these issues are addressed.

the staff! the hotel itself was very clean. I must say “Gregory” went above and beyond to make sure the food was continuously being made. he literally made us feel at home! he brightened our morning before heading to our Sunday morning service. I will definitely be back! I recommend this to anyone in the Charlotte area. I’ve never been to a hotel with such phenomenal breakfast. My family and I travel a lot but the eggs were phenomenal. The eating area was so clean. I hope he gets the recognition needed for his good work. WE APPRECIATE YOUR WELCOMING SPIRIT! and thank you HYATT for picking someone like him to represent the brand! we will be back.

The breakfast was great. The room was nice. You could see it was old, but well kept and it's going under renovations, so it would be great to come back and see the results. The staff was friendly.

Great all around. It was going under renovations, so not everything was working, but it was great and there were accommodations made to make up for the ongoing renovations, so no complaints.

Lucy at the front desk is amazing and greets everyone that walks in or walks by and does it with a smile on her face and sincerity in her voice. she deserves an award of some sort for how hospitable she was towards all guest!! loved her and she would be the reason we came and stayed again!

Joel at the front desk was less than helpful and acted as if me asking for extra bedding for the pull out couch was an inconvenience for him. very cold and off-putting towards me which threw me off because I had just previously watched him interact with guests before me and he seemed pleasant.

The maintenance team was the best part about our stay. We had a light out in the bathroom and our TV all the sudden went blank. We went down to talk to the front desk, she got them in here as fast as possible. They changed the light in no time. The guy even told us he went to Walmart to look for another tv bc he was able to fix ours. they were going to change our room but he found a tub to put in here. In a timely manner. Very satisfied with them! The front desk lady was very nice as well. You are within 10 minutes of everything!

All of the employees are so accommodating and awesome! I have to give a special shout out to Raymond! After a long stressful week I checked in to this hotel and was greeted with so much kindness that it was mind-blowing. Raymond has excellent customer service skills and he went above and beyond to help me with all of the questions I had about the property and the surrounding area since I was traveling from out of state. We need more customer service representatives in our world like Raymond!!

The hotel and room was clean, and the staff was nice. It was an easy check-in and check-out process. It was a good price for a hotel so close to Charlotte.

The breakfast was a little lacking, which was unfortunate, but no complaints other than that.

Ms. Lucy was so nice as well as nightshift. I do not remember their names. The area was quiet. There was some people in the parking lot laughing and joking but it did not disturb me or my family. I thought it was refreshing.

The tub was clogged but we brought drano and solved the issue.

The front desk staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was a nice additional gesture to our stay.

The shower inner curtain was not clean at the bottom. I believe after so much use, it should be soaked for the black like appearance on the bottom of it. The shower did wet the floor quite a bit but we used towels for that.

The breakfast was incredible. I like how we were able to make our own waffles and as many as you heart desires. There was always someone around when you needed help. Extra towel and sheets were provided upon request and the overall experience itself was amazing. Will be back again.

There was nothing wrong with my stay. I enjoyed my view of looking at carowinds from my window.
