Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Cincinnati NE - Red Bank Road, an IHG Hotel

It was in close proximity of several places we needed to go such as MI Cozumel Heritage Bank Center and Kenwood Mall. The morning after our stay we asked for a soulfood restaurant location. Turns out there was 1 less than a mile away.. The staff webt above and beyond by calling to see if the business was open and even gave us a back up plan if they hadn't been Ms. Millies hit the spot. Loved breakfast and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay at this Holiday Day Inn Express and Suites in the future. It does sit off the road but our gps came in handy.

The beds were comfortable and the people were very nice.

The rugs in the room was very very dirty! It needed a deep clean. I wore my flip flops the entire time I was in the room. Turned your feet or socks black, not exaggerating. There was something on the floor by the side door a lot of people came and went that was still there when we left and we stayed for three nights. The pool, which is why we picked the motel, was so cold, my grandkids were freezing when they got out. No more Holiday Inns for us.

Our check in was great. I believe her name was Tay. SHE WAS AWESOME!!! She saw the 2 toddlers when we came in and immediately took to them, gave them a treat and they loved her. It made us feel so welcome. The bed was comfortable, the sofa bed was comfortable. The layout of the room was very spacious. We loved playing in the pool with the kids. We did have a rather stressful morning. But it was a live and learn situation. Apparently the toddlers that we had with us who are very active were too noisy and bothered one of the guests.We were on the 3rd floor and it was our 1st time taking the toddlers to a hotel. We graciously apologize to the front desk. Her name was Sarah. She was wonderful about it. I did let her know if they were still there to please apologize for us. We did everything we could to keep them quiet. In the future, we will request a ground floor room to avoid the echo and back in the back or in the front so we only have one wall between us and other guests, lol. I've never been disappointed with a Holiday Inn and I wasn't this time.

We didn't experience anything that we disliked. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The staff who were there when I checked in wonderful. Couldn't give a 10 because your staff African American girl short haircut was just rediculous...I asked for a receipt and she refused to give to me because I booked with a third party.....first time ever in all my years of traveling. Made no sense. If this is policy it's only your policy. Still no receipt, but you sure took my payment before I even arrived.

great location and had a great smell and the pool was actually heated! we had reservations in my wife’s name at another IHG property called Knights Inn and Suites and just walked in and looked around and knew we couldn’t stay there because smell was unbearable and the pools heater was broke. We took the loss of 200$ almost and paid more for this place and it was great! The staff even felt bad, Isiah I think and helped make our first night very warming. Will definitely be back.

would like the pool to be opened later because we were gone most the day visiting local areas.

The breakfast omelets were amazing! The staff from 4:30pm until we left at 11 am the morning were fantastic! They were polite and professional. They were also very helpful checking on us often.

The bathroom toilet could have been more clean and the luggage carrier trails didn't fit so if you pushed to hard it came apart but that was it.

We booked this room as a friend nearby had a last-minute emergency, and were very happy with our experience: Great price, very clean, nice room, comfortable beds, diverse clientele, lots of safe choices for breakfast, etc. Tez at the front desk was WONDERFUL - please give him a raise, promote him, all the things! He was so friendly, attentive, and made sure we were safe and comfortable. The gentlemen cleaning rooms on the third and fourth floor were also very courteous and friendly.

It would be great to have more than one USB plug for charging devices. Also (definitely COVID-precaution) - we were stuck bugging the front desk for nearby, late-night food options. The breakfast was decent but the scrambled eggs were almost pure liquid - very undercooked.

The staff was very friendly. They were very informational about local restaurants and places fun to visit. The breakfast was hot and fresh.

The rooms could use a good carpet cleaning. The mattresses were ok but could have been more comfortable.

Great location in Madisonville. A little difficult to find; it’s behind the Summit hotel you can see from the road. You can take advantage of the Summit’s swanky hotel bar if you want. Hot Breakfast is uninspiring and fine; totally par for a HIE. They employ people from the surrounding neighborhood, which is important to me.

Several facilities issues when I visited: one elevator was out and the pool was nonfunctional. These things happen.

Breakfast was substantial and tasty. The hotel beast centrally located. And all our destinations wer easily reached.

It was unfortunate that due to COVID-19 that our room was not cleaned regularly. That is my only complaint.
