The Country Inn of Lancaster

Very Welcoming staff from the beginning throughout our 3 day stay. The room was very nice, large and clean. The bed was great for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless and had many towels with wonderful spa bodywash, shampoo and conditioner. Yummy breakfast with hard boiled eggs, pecan sticky buns, bagels, cereals, fruits and more.Nice 24hr coffee, juice, water and yogurt setup in lobby area. We would stay again. There is a bar/snack food restaurant next door/50feet away that was nice and reasonable for an evening beer break.

The only issue was the large heated enclosed pool. It was like getting into a hot tub and the enclosed area was 100-105 degrees so we felt like we were sweating in the pool. NOT REFRESHING AT ALL....BEST NOT TO SWIM!! I was worried 😟.

We thought it was an excellent choice for our family. We were very surprised that there was actually a little eating area for the breakfast (or if you brought in take out) that had coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available 24/7. The even more surprising thing was they also had fresh fruit, milk, juice, and yogurt available as well....also 24/7. I've never been anywhere that did that. The room was very comfortable and clean. My family loved the swimming pool, which is just a very short walk across the parking lot. They spent more time there than I expected. Pool hours are great. The front desk lady was very pleasant. We stopped at the hotel about 2 hours before check in time to see where it was and I told her we had reservations but we knew we were early so we'd be back. She asked me my name and offered to check if the room was ready. It was and we were able to check in early which was extremely nice.

There was nothing NOT to like.

A very clean, comfortable and cozy facility. Beds were extremely comfortable as well as pillows insuring a great night's rest. Quilted bedspreads added to the coziness of the room. The breakfast provided was more than adequate. Bagels, toast, coffee cakes, cereal, yogurt, juices, hard boiled eggs and coffee and tea were provided along with condiment's. It was more than enough to start our day. We loved the patio outside our room with the rocking chairs for relaxation. Would stay again without hesitation. Staff was very polite and helpful. An excellent Inn and we loved it there. Just what we were looking for !!!

The free breakfast was nice. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the hotel was very nicely decorated. The location is awesome! I would definitely stay again on future visits.

The housekeepers only checked the rooms every 3 days. It would be nice to have the trash emptied and fresh towels on a daily basis. Also the room only had one chair, it would have been nice to have two.

the room and bathroom was very clean as well as the hotel lobby and pool area. the beds were super comfortable! the location was in the middle of everywhere we were going. the staff was very helpful and super friendly!

The pool could've used a few lounge chairs and there were no towels when we arrived at the pool. Also, the breakfast could've had a few more choices but all in all, was very good!

Good location with easy access on and off US30 and to the different sites and activities in the area. The indoor pool and spa is clean and inviting.

The Inn was very comfortable for a overnight stay. It was local to all our spots we were visiting. The staff was very professional. Upon entrance to The Inn it smells amazing and felt cozy welcome! Restaurant on site.

Beds were in need of updating. Our room was close to an elevator so we were woken up by guests that came in at a late hours and were loud. Bathroom floor was a bit sticky, I think there was a leak from the toilet. The toilet didn't flush very well. Online booking should explain breakfast is (Continental breakfast) included, for guests with dietary restrictions. Complimentary juices and coffee station set up but, if there are more than 2 people there gets very crowded to get past to get to hallway where they're are guests rooms.

Convenient location, clean, friendly staff. Nice breakfast. A nice surprise was the complimentary guest laundry, which is very convenient. Near Route 30 Diner, which is an old-style diner with good options for dinner, and very reasonable prices and good portions.

While the hotel provided complimentary bottles of water, it would be nice to have a water fountain or water jug for refill, so not to waste too many plastic bottles.

The property was comfy and cozy and has a “down home” feel. The rooms are very clean and neat. The staff tries their hardest to accommodate your requests. The continental breakfast was yummy wat wide selection for everyone. The Inn is conveniently located within a short distance to major events, restaurants, shopping malls and convenience stores. I love this place and will be coming back

I liked everything about this property.

Clean and convenient

My mom is in a wheelchair. Handicap room on the 2nd floor does not make any sense. In case of emergency. we can't use elevator. How would we get her down to the first floor. On line it shows the nice 1st floor rooms with the cute porch. It looked as though they were available but we were placed on the 2nd floor. The room was fine and we enjoyed our stay. Next time we come back we would stay there again, but would request specific room.
