La Quinta by Wyndham Bay City

When my phone changed the dates on me and had us coming in on the wrong night I could not get a hold of anyone in the night crew to change it. I would get a recording and and push the 0 to get the front desk and no one would answer. The recording would just start all over again. I had to finally send email messages to booking.com and to the motel. Gabby the next morning fixed everything. The air-conditioner was quite noisy but the night staff said in some rooms they don't even work. So we just ignored it. Also, all the smokers stayed around the front door so you had to walk through smoke to get in and out.

Staff was friendly and Gabby helped me change the dates that my phone messed up.

Actually the staff make the place exceptional. I was traveling with my elderly mom who has severe allergies and they made a concerted effort per my request to limit any perfumes or strong odors in our room. In addition, numerous times when I appeared to be trying to do something either the cleaning service personnel, front desk or even maintenance personnel offered to help. Just great all around Customer Service. Room was nice and large. Beds were comfortable, not a 10 but comfortable.

I can't say that there was anything I disliked about the hotel other now with people not having to wear face coverings it is much for risky for others. But, I'm not sure the hotel can control this.

Breakfast was very good but limited. Rooms spacious and comfy. Really liked lemon water & keurig available in lobby all day. Staff awesome!

Bathroom needed a little extra attention, no extra washcloths available at desk.

The best part of being there at your hotel is a lady name Amanda at the front desk she is great always smiling and welcoming Us she goes out of her way to make sure our stay is comfortable breakfast is great every morning and all the staff is very nice love coming there and staying at your hotel in Bay City will be back 5+***** star all the way!!!

Missed breakfast but the area was very clean. I also liked that they had a water and coffee station setup at the check in desk. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I liked the welcoming environment as well as how clean the rooms are.

The only issue would be that the hall carpets are filthy, like very dirty as if no one has shampoo’d them in a while. We have been coming here on and off 6 months and the carpets are still the same. But only in the hallways.

The guest receptionists Pharra was very welcoming and very nice. She even remembered me from when I initially set my reservation.

The only problem was with the a/c. I did not say anything to the staff because it was still pretty comfortable without it. Everything else was great.

Lobby, continental breakfast, room size, bed, pool.

Bathroom was dirty upon check in, hair in bathtub, and no toilet paper.

A/C wasn't cooling but was moved quickly to another room the following day, thin walls and floors thst allow you to hear everything...
