OYO Hotel Houston Humble IAH Airport HWY 59

Super easy access to I-69. Food and shopping nearby. The clerk was very nice. The price was great but the most important factor for me was how decently clean the room was. Normally for the rate paid, you’d expect a room you’d call dumpy or dingy. I’ve def had my share of nightmare hotels for rates comparable to this so this is an absolute YES for referring and returning.

A bit run down externally. Could use fresh paint and a little love. Presentation is 70% of the grade, but never judge a book by its cover, I guess.

Well for the price range hotels, it was better than most. Usually when I get a non smoking room(in other hotels this price range) it will wreak of smoke. The nonsmoking room they gave me here didn't smell and it was more comfortable than I had imagined. Also, there are plenty of shopping/restaurants within walking distance so you can get in some exercise too!

They mention having microwaves but they do not have them in the rooms. So if you plan on staying here awhile for work or just other reasons....take note of that.

The cleaning crew were meticulous in their cleaning. The floors, bathroom, and bed were always, always clean and all toiletries replenished. Awesome job, ladies!!!

I didn't like linens that smelled like smoke or had smoke burns, in my nonsmoking room. Several towels had some sort of stain. Strive for perfect cleanliness, every time.

The cleanliness, polite staff and it's near everything. Price was reasonable as well.

The room was very clean, smells good, nice staff. I stayed her 7 days I felt safe because they have cameras around the place and as you talk to them you can see the monitors and they sit there monitoring. I love it and would come again.

The room was clean except the little bugs in bathroom. They were like little sugar ants or something. The hotel is located right off freeway by 4 or 5 restaurant and shops within walking distance and lots of parking.

The ac didn't get comfortable till morning and there were little black bugs in shower. No elevator for the three floors not very accommodating to elderly or disabled.

Everything is wonderful overall. Clean rooms, nice big bed, tubs in the bathroom, all of the essentials. Housekeeping comes through daily with warm fresh towels. Love it.

Loud music early in the morning. Other guests are sometimes inconsiderate but that's expected anywhere

There was daily visits for extra towels and cleaning. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and a ten minute walk to the gym. The mall is also across the way but I don't recommend walking there.

I know with COVID much is taken away and I think that's the only thing I didn't like lol.

It is relatively quiet for a large hotel. I have enjoyed being within walking distance of tons of restaurants, stores, and the local mall is right across the street. The cleaning ladies are very thorough and nice when you ask them for extra soap.

The pool is closed and ice machine doesn't work. There is one set of stairs where the step is lower than the others. It can throw your steps off so I recommend just starting your decent from the second step.

Located right across the street from Deerbrook Mall and tons of restaurants. If you don't feel like driving you can literally walk and won't get tired. The hotel is being remodeled so some parts may not look so well, but other than that it is a quiet relatively safe hotel.

The pool is closed. The bed in my room is old and creaks with the slightest movement. Other than that I am enjoying my stay here.
