The guy at the front desk could have shown some type of happiness, did not speak when i enter the tiny office space, no smile, he had a look of disappointment.

Only available room for miles
Lights and phone had the look as if a heavily intoxicated person haphazardly installed the cheapest led strips available, absolutely 0 amenities offered, used my own mobile internet, and got shocked by the aluminum box bed 😖

The room was clean
Staff was very rude, I payed for two double beds NON-SMOKING, they showed me a room with a twin bed and what looked like a toddler mattress that was definitely smoking, the gentleman demanded this was the only room available, even after I had already book a double room earlier that day. However I demanded the room wouldn’t work, and I was placed in a single bed room. No refund of money, assuming a single bed would be less than a double bed room. However releasing there was a no refund sign on the door I turn in the key, the next morning and left! We’ll never return! Take my advice this is not a place to spend your money!

The only lighting was one bulb in the bathroom and two bright spotlights over the bed, shining directly into the eyes of anyone lying on the bed. the only available electrical plus was one just above the floor right outside the bathroom, which because of its location have very utility. No place to hang clothes. The room was a small, stark room that resembled a jail cell more than a motel room. When I arrived, the battery in the fire alarm was low and was emitting a loud squeak every few seconds. When I went out to dinner, I reported the problem to the clerk and asked that the battery be replaced. He said that he would do so. When I returned, I discovered that instead of replacing the battery, he removed the fire alarm from the room, leaving ghetto room without an alarm. To the best of my knowledge, THAT WAS A VIOLATION OF TEXAS STATE LAW.
