Hilton Garden Inn San Marcos

I liked the beds and the room. Very clean and comfortable.

Hilton usually offers free breakfasts, which is why I love the Hilton. This one charged $8.65 for a cold breakfast. I was surprised and a little disappointed.

Breakfast was given with no charge just because I have Gold Status, otherwise you have to pay. The hotel was comfortable and quiet even though it's near a busy highway.The staff were amazing!

They should just give free breakfast to everybody. The aircon tends to run noisy. There'e nothing to hang the towels in the bathroom.

it was very clean and updated, pool looked very nice but we didn’t get in. the bar and breakfast were very convenient. rooms were large! staff was amazing. aj at the front desk was so helpful. it’s a “no clean unless you ask” property which is made clear and was no issue. we requested more towels after the second day and got them asap. laundry room was accessible and had times listed for washer and dryer timing. 10/10 would stay again. very easily accessible off of 35 and convenient to Texas State which was the purpose of our visit.

Very clean and overall comfortable stay.

The bathroom sliding door would leave quite a big gap since it wouldn’t slide enough to cover the entrance anyone could see through while one is showering and if someone were to open the room’s door someone passing by in the hall could easily get a peek, it would just be more convenient and add more privacy if it were a normal door.

the rooms are very pretty and also de pool and outside area. the staff was very polite too

the breakfast was very complete, with several options but instead of being buffet there was a lady who was responsible for taking the orders and giving each thing that we asked. i believe that was done due to covid, but currently all those restrictions have been eased and I believe they should have a buffet style again, as well as having the daily clean of all the rooms.

Clean & modern. The room was set up to make the most of the space which was amazing! Thanks to everyone that came up with this plan.

Did not know we had to request housekeeping while we were out for the day. Hence, not happy the bed was not made, etc. We left at 6 am & there was no coffee in the lobby. It was ready at 7 am. Most hotels have coffee available at 6 am.

Did not have breakfast. But it looked nice from what I could see.

It was all very pleasant... Would have been nice to get a roll a way bed. Our college ( TXST) daughter decided she wanted to stay with us since the AC in her dorm was broken. We had a king room... I called the desk and asked if that could be accommodated. But, no go... So she sweated it out at school.

Breakfast Hostesses were very friendly and most helpful. Food was ok good.

Room ac was excellent and easy to adjust. Room 401 arrangement was strange. The bed was behind the desk area low wall - I had to walk all around the bed to go to bathroom. I did not like that.

Quick check-in was a plus and the room was cleaned to a level of satisfaction. The staff on duty was attentive and helpful and made my experience better.

The breakfast options were limited due to covid restrictions, but the options offered were not of the same quality as a traditional Hilton Garden experience. I was provided oatmeal packets, and coffee and the oatmeal just wasn't to the standard Hilton provides.

Our room and bathroom were clean, and beds/pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!! Thank you!

The only minor complaint I have is that the room could have been a little cheaper.
