Hampton Inn & Suites Selma-San Antonio/Randolph AFB

Breakfast was ok. Some Tabasco sauce would have been nice. Don't care much for Cholula. Gravy should have been there everyday. Omelets were ok but the scrambled eggs were better. Real maple syrup would be nice. Some half and half for the coffee would be nice. Should have uncured meat. Nitrates and nitrites have been shown to be clearly linked with colon cancer. Drury Inns in San Antonio have better breakfasts.

Corn syrup - yuch! You need uncured meat. At my hotel in Lake Tahoe, it was all uncured meat. Showers were small with the handle in them.

Staff was VERY helpful and friendly. The facilities are wonderful as well. The fitness room was one of the nicer rooms I've seen during my hotel stays. The hot breakfast was really good as well and well maintained. The staff made sure everything was filled as needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall, a wonderful stay.

The only criticism is one of the two elevators was not working at all, leading to some very long waits even though we were there on a weeknight. I imagine it would have been even more frustrating if the hotel was busier.

Breakfast was very good and the service for breakfast was excellent. Tonya made breakfast very enjoyable. She was friendly and made sure our breakfast was made perfect.

There was mold on our room ceiling around the light and the fire alarm. The shower curtain rod was broken and the curtain wouldn’t stay shut. The refrigerator could have been colder

When booking the reservation I requested a room on the upper floor and not near the elevator. Our room was right next to the elevator.

Breakfast was pretty good factoring in the Covid situation. Bacon and Eggs would have been nice but I understand that the Covid 19 virus has caused compromises everywhere. The staff I interacted with were terrific!! TV and channel selection was better than I had expected! Free wifi met my needs just fine.

Really the only thing I could say needed attention was the bathroom fluorescent light had a bit of flickering that was mildly annoying. The hinges on the entry door were in need of some lubrication. Didn't bother my rest but I sure felt bad for any other guests that were nearby that might have been disturbed when I opened and closed the door. Sorry neighbors!

The breakfast was good. We enjoyed the waffles and the different variety that was presented. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were spacious.

The room was so clean you could smell it. (And not in a disinfectant way.) Bathrooms were sparkling, linens smelled fresh. Floor was vacuumed and air conditioning worked very well.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Breakfast was good and had a good variety for all. Location easy to get to & easy to get back to interstate. Was comforted by seeing security in parking lot.

Everything was wonderfully. Management and staff all very friendly. The hotel was very clean and one of the few places that actually had sanitizer in their stations. Everywhere else they were always empty. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was great and staff that served it. Nothing bad to be said . Big thumbs up
