It was our second stay in this hotel. And I liked it even better this time. We went to Plain for cross country skiing. and this hotel is right on the trailhead. It is very important for us, as my husband likes to ski for long hours. And it was very nice that I can just go to the room and relax instead of waiting him in a car or in the store. The price was not cheap, but we got free ski trail passes for our stay, which made the cost ok. The room was clean and very comfortable. The kitchenet was handy, the bed and pillows were nice. We really liked this place.

It was not important for winter stay, but I don't think the window can be open. Could be an issue for summer. They have good cooling/heating system. But I really like when you can open the window.

Michael was an amazing "host"...very quick to get us extra, needed kitchen pots and pans & clean towels. We had an apartment that slept 6 of us (could've slept 2 more) & a double queen room for 4. Place was quiet, clean & comfortable! Would stay again for sure. He even refunded us one night when queen room group had to leave one night early unexpectedly. GREAT PLACE!! Right next to grocery, hardware, coffee and cafe!

Only thing I would've liked was a broom & dustpan in apartment

The lodge is unique. Each room has a small deck on the back facing a cosy courtyard. Ours had really nice decor, two large Queen beds and a kitchenette area. It was really quiet. It is outside Leavenworth and out of the touristy bustle. The drive to and fro Leavenworth was enjoyable.

If you want to eat dinner near the lodge it is a bit limited for options but you could get creative with the microwave. There is a fridge and coffee maker.

A comfortable stay for the whole family of 5, two adults and 3 kids, close to Lake Wenatchee and Leavenworth.

We understood that the cabin was decorated in a rustic style, but, as animal lovers, did not approve heads of killed deer everywhere on the walls.

Wonderful location, beautiful place, the arrangement of the rooms had a "homey" feeling to it. The staff was wonderful, responsive, and very accommodating. We traveled for a wedding and the lodge was the perfect place to stay at.

The walls were a little too thin, so you could hear your neighbor quite well at all hours, especially if children traveled with them as well.

Centrally located in Plain outside of Leavenworth. There is a small grocery store with a gas station, a burger cafe and even a hardware store. Set in a quiet and peaceful location surrounded by mountains and ranches, the hotel has a beautiful architecture with cute gardens surrounding it. The very spacious, well appointed and fully equipped room makes a very comfortable stay. We also loved the fact that each room has two entries with one in the back open to a beautiful courtyard. Also, the self check-in arrangement was very helpful for after hours arrival. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

To no fault of the hotel, a night of sleep was ruined by exciting loud talking from next room until 1:30 am. To be fair to the hotel, there is a quiet hours rule in place after 10 pm each night though.

Very cute place with friendly and helpful staff. In kind of a secluded area which I liked because it felt peaceful. Close to some great hiking options and the snowmobile place we used.

The bathroom is kind of small. The walls were kind of thin on just one side of the room so we heard our neighbors more on that one side. Told the office about it and they said they didn't know that and they would take a look at it. The staff seem on top of things so I believe they will do what they can to fix it.

We loved this quiet retreat; the room was spacious with room for each of us to spread out and a table to play games at. The room was nicely done with a cozy fee. We love the courtyard in the middle, and the rocking chair on our porch! There were some dishes in the cupboard for serving food in our room and enjoying our morning coffee. The other thing we really appreciated was the huge bathroom and counter space for shower time, well supplied with towels of all sizes.

The location, for starters, was absolutely gorgeous and very peaceful. There's a nice general store and rustic diner right next door. The staff was very kind and the room set a high standard. My husband and I stayed in the Eagle's Nest suite. and the kitchen has just about everything you could need to cook your own meals (which is what we did for breakfast and dinner). Over all it went beyond my expectations, and made my entire vacation even better. I look forward to coming back next year!

I liked the location. I didn't want to stay in town. We were only a short distance from Lake Wenatchee. It was beautiful! The fall colors were spectacular. We enjoyed photographing the beautiful scenery.

We never figured out the television until the third night we were there. Too bad we never read the directions in our room. LOL! We didn't realize the lights came on when you touch them. That was nice, but again we didn't know until the third day.
