wow what an amazing mansion , so many old things to see , bed and pillows very comfortable and the best soft silky like sheets , great breakfast .

i didn’t really like the area it was in , but the place and staff were great x

The breakfast was great. They were able to cater for food restrictions. The house is well decorated for the time period, and really enjoyed the gardens. The owners were kind and gracious and very down to earth.

Any mishaps, they gladly assisted with on request. I would say that the way booking is set up, it very clearly states that breakfast is included in the quoted price. I think their website is set up differently so that I was charged separately. However, I think that's an issue with how it's priced on Booking and have escalated it to the Booking.com review team to collaborate with them about it. It was adjusted for us.

This is one of the most extraordinary B&Bs I've see in a long time. The house is beautifully decorated, it somehow feels as if you're staying in a museum! The owners are super nice and helpful, and you're given various choices for breakfast, individually prepared for you and served on real china plates.

The house stands out of the neighborhood which seemed a little run-down and noisy. But it still felt safe to walk outside in the darker hours.

We LOVED our stay! So much better than a regular hotel. You have your own room/suite depending on what room you choose. You’re greeted by the owners, discuss what you would like for breakfast and at what time, given a quick tour with access to the kitchen to store any food items you may have etc. It’s beautiful and just so enjoyable! They have a gift shop too, as well as high tea! The grounds are beautiful and has a fire pit. We had a show to attend so we couldn’t personally enjoy the evening on the grounds, but know we would have if we were there!

Everything was great!

Location was close to down town and harbor. Mansion was cool with rooms to just meander through. Outside patio was private and inviting. We were really stoked we went here.

While we didn't mind picking the time we wanted Breakfast at check in, getting back from German fest, we wished we would have asked for a later time. Shame on us

I love how welcoming Laura Sue n her husband Rick were , we had a amazing room , the decor was ol world n so pretty , the mansion itself is a beautiful historic building , breakfast was amazing she cooked it herself n we had a amazing conversation w Laura Sue over breakfast I would highly recommend staying there

Amazing detail--re Victioriana. Welcoming hosts--who offered breakfast at our convenience--which is likely why we were seated at different tables from other guests. I do prefer to be seated with other guests--so perhaps the hosts might offer that option.

Nothing not to like!

Entire Mansion was a delight to see. The High Tea was a once in a life-time experience. The food was wonderful, delicious and with a beautiful presentation. Owners are very interactive and knowledgeable.

I personally had a little trouble climbing 3 flights of stairs but that is due to my age and conditiion- I doubt anyone younger than 75 would have any trouble.

Thought it was a little sketch at first, since I had never tried a BnB. Turned out to be a great experience. Courteous staff. The filtered tap water was incredible drinking water.

Slightly finicky hot water controls in the shower. Hot/cold water was inconsistent.
