Grand Mercure Hanoi

Really friendly and kind staff with a good breakfast selection. Brand new so facilities are really good however not everything is open such as the sky bar.

Sometimes the service was a little slow for a high end hotel but we understand that it is because of lack of staff. And not all facilities where open as I mentioned the sky bar. It is a bit far from Old town but close to the main attractions.

I want to start saying that the main added value of this hotel is its staff: always welcoming me with a smile that is very good when you're travelling for business. A special mention to JULIE, the girl at the reception desk that made my stay at the hotel as five stars, being always very helpful, kind and professional from my arrival until and after the check out time. Very comfortable, quiet and clean room with amazing and spacious bathroom with both shower and bath tub. Well performing WiFi everywhere. I loved also the food served at the restaurant in the evening, traditional Vietnamese dishes reinterpreted for guests from all around the world. Also the young guy at restaurant felt me like at my home. I would strongly recommend this hotel for your stay in Hanoi.

Just as hint for improvement: - the rooftop and swimming pool not available yet but it's because the hotel is very new, just opened to the guets - good breakfast but the choice range could be improved

It is newish so appearance was fresh, clean and bright. It is 1.8k to Hoan Kiem Lake. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Special mention to River for sharing with us the city guide app which made our exploration of the city more enjoyable. To Thanh for pleasant conversations. Having staffs (Benjamine and Tam) who can converse made our stay at this hotel memorable and adds layer to our experience of Hanoi.

There is no Overhead lighting above the mirror in the bathroom so putting make up on is difficult.

brand new hotel , super clean rooms , they have used the best of technology in the rooms and kept it as environmentally friendly as possible , Mr CU at the concierge took great care of us , Breakfast is great , good choices , good quality , reception staff in the end did apologise for the rough time I faced.comfortable beds, and instead of the lounge access they had given us free canapés and alocoholic beverages in the 2nd floor restaurant of theirs.

hotel is not fully operational , no roof top bar . no swimming pool , no lounge , staff was fairly new and clueless with most of the things and they should hire more people , I changed my room 2-3 times because I had booked a room with a balcony but got a completely obstructed view of the city which left a bitter pill to swallow, they shifted me to a smaller room post that and had to change back to my original room

The hotel was a great find, We were over in Hanoi for 8 days with work and needed a base - this hotel was avalable at a good rate and offered everything we needed, the people were fantastic and the hotel amenaties, breakfast and a la carte restaurant were all of a high standard - all round a great hotel which we plan to use for future trips

Honestly their service is 100000/10! Everything was amazing, if you are used to going to luxurious hotels ( Ritz, FS…) the service here is the exact same if not better! Im so so happy I stayed with them, room was beautiful clean! Food was great! But the service is by far the best advantage! Keep up the good work!

Veey new, but well experienced staffs and services. Always suggest something more than what we want in good way. Room was very clean, bed was good size and amazing comfortness. oh and the best breakfast buffet.

Location is a little bit far from the center part of old town, but very close to Temple of literature and other famouse monuments.

As soon as you enter all the staff are very welcoming. The facilities in the room were exceptional, the food was tasty and great value. Thang the restaurant manager was amazing. Would highly recommend this hotel for the quieter location but close enough to the Old Quarter.

Everything was perfect.

The property is new and clean. Close enough to Old Quarter without being in the thick of it. The rooms are exactly as pictured.

It would have been nice if there was a choose for a firm pillow. It wasn’t available.

the property and staff were good location was not very great, some rooms have a very poor view hence you need to be careful good options are limited and restaurant capacity is also limited we were unable to get booking in the restaurant on Christmas eve as we landed the same day
