Lahana Resort Phu Quoc & Spa

Beautiful resort and spa. Central location, only a quick walk down to the shops or beach. Nice long swimming pool looking out at beautful mountain views makes you feel like you're in another world. They also have little golf buggys where staff take you around the resort which was super fun to make use of.

Nothing! We loved our stay at Lahana! A few other reviews mentioned the warm bathrooms if you have a hilltop bungalow room which wasn't a huge issue as we didn't spend much time in the bathroom itself and was able to keep the bedroom cool by closing the bathroom doors. It's a large property with golf buggys to take you around the main hotel facilities (your room, reception, swimming pool, restaurants) if you didn't feel like walking and the staff were always so lovely whenever we called up to use the service. Absolutely loved our stay here at Lahana :)

We stayed for 4 nights with 3 young kids and we're sorry we couldn't stay for more. The rooms are great and definitely the best showers we had, one was in the house garden and that was wonderful. The beds are good And you have all you need in the room with good private wifi. Breakfast is superb, the best we had in Vietnam. Also the pool is wonderful with great view and our kids loved running around in the small kids area and gym. The staff are more then great, nice, helpful and genoruse. The location is just near the main street with lots of places to go, 5min car ride to the market, grab is easy to catch here. We highly recommend it!!

We’ve stayed with Lahana twice now - pre and post-COVID - and the resort has a special place in our hearts. We are already thinking on when we will return again. The resort is stunning, especially the bungalows/villas with private outdoor baths and showers which are spectacular. Service staff are impeccable, welcoming and helpful. Hilltop pool area and views are beautiful. We also looked forward to the breakfast buffet daily as it is clean, tasty and nicely varied with various counters as the options change everyday. Poolside cocktails (take advantage of the happy hour!) were the dream! Motorbikes and airport transfers are also available and were very well priced compared to other hotels/resorts/cities across Vietnam.

The setting is idyllic with the gardens and the pool overlooking the trees and sea. The rooms were lovely and I loved the outside shower. The breakfast was very good, great variety and attentive staff.

The outside shower didn’t appear to be working we couldn’t turn the knobs only a little bit then they stopped. We didn’t want to force and break something so we reported to reception. They visited the following day while we were out and when we returned we were advised they were working and nothing wrong. They must have been stiff from little use but we felt foolish by the response. Also a family came to the next room and the child screamed and shouted through the night disturbing our sleep. We reported this and when they spoke to the parents they said he’s naughty and won’t listen. We were offered another room eventually which was very nice.

It's tucked away from the main street so it's a quiet area with easy access to shops. The resort is very green with fish ponds and the restaurant with infinity pool a really nice touch. The resort is hilly but they have carts that are ready to take you up and down the resort so this isnt an issue at all. Customer service is superb and the food is very decent and cheaper than other resorts. Drinks were very good.

The resorts isn't at the beach. We visited a resort right at the beach in North Long Beach that had all what Lahana had but right at the beach. It was just 20 GBP more expensive the night but we thought was worth it. Lahana has an arrange of bungalows but also has a 2 storey building (the cheaper rooms). We stayed there. We found the room very noisy. We could hear kids crying, beds being dragged and romantic activities. If you are a light sleeper pay more and make sure you stay in a bungalow.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lahana Resort and I must say it was an experience beyond expectations. The hotel staff undoubtedly played a pivotal role in making our stay absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, they are truly caring and helpful, thank you for everything! Speaking about the hotel, the rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with everything one could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was evident in every corner. Restaurant and Pool are incredible!! Surely a highlight of our time at the hotel. If only we could have extended our stay! I wholeheartedly recommend Lahana to anyone seeking a flawless hotel experience with a touch of genuine care and outstanding service in Phu Quoc. I can't wait for the opportunity to return.

Lahana feels like a jungle retreat, tucked away down a quiet lane, with villas nestled among the trees. The set-up of the resort was lovely, with villas terraced on the hill and a great pool and restaurant at the top. Our double villa was very large and beautifully decorated, with a comfy bed. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, particularly with the buggy to give those who needed it a lift up the hill. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of western and Asian options and an egg station, plus the later offerings at the restaurant were reasonably priced and delicious. It was quite out of the way of some of the nicer beaches, but very easy and inexpensive to get a Grab elsewhere. Recommend the Saigonese Eatery for food just up the road.

The outdoor showers were quite a challenge in reality, mainly because rather than being tiled, there was bare earth exposed. This meant we were joined by a little more wildlife than we bargained with in the shower one day!

We loved everything about Lahana Resort - so glad we chose this resort over some of the others on the beach side that we were considering. All staff are so professional, friendly and helpful without being over the top. The resort itself is just stunning with luscious garden, amazing pool, excellent gym and games room (billiards, jenga, darts, toddler play area). There is a very large and varied spread at the breakfast buffet. On the day of check out, our ferry off the island got cancelled due to bad weather so we had to extend our stay for an extra night, the reception staff were so helpful in trying to find a suitable solution for us as our current rooms had already been booked by new guests checking in that night. Thank you Lahana Team! Just a note to say that the resort is set among the hilltops so there are slopes however they do have a buggy service to get you around the resort. This wasn’t an issue for us at all but can see it can be for people with mobility issues.

Nothing - loved everything!

Beautifully maintained landscaping with two koi ponds full of healthy fish. Gorgeous flowers everywhere and a statue of the Gaia, the Goddess of earth. The outdoor shower was fun and having a balcony to sit on meant we could enjoy the gardens from our room. The A/C was good and the hot water was excellent. There were lots of loungers around the pool so we always secured one. The pool was a decent size and the water was a good temperature. The breakfast buffet had variety in the hot dishes and noodle / soup bar. The standard offerings were good and were replenished The staff were attentive, maybe too attentive, taking away plates of food before they were eaten

The bed was hard and they only provide one pillow. Our safe didn’t work. Staff attended six times and each time gave a tutorial on how to operate the safe, when in fact we knew how to use the safe. Despite telling them we know how to operate it, the problem is with the safe, it took six visits before they finally replaced the batteries. The fridge in the room only worked when the electricity was on and even then it never got cold. There were no temperature settings on the fridge. The gym needs some attention. There were only a handful of free weights and two benches.

Very nice resort just like the photo shown in the website, the room was clean and I really love the Water Pressure of the shower. The pool has very nice hill view too! The staffs were very friendly especially the Manager and the receptionist who always greet us and gave us clear explanation when we need enquiries about shuttle buses, laundry services,etc. Though It located inside an alley but it just 2mins walk to the main street of Duong Duong, a mart just located outside the junction, and plenty of restaurants nearby! Please come to stay in this hotel and you had no regret!

The air conditioning in the room was a bit weak and felt kinda warm staying inside the room, and the breakfast should be improved by more authentic Vietnamese taste.
