Thank you for your interest in submitting to Travelated.

Write for Travelated.com

Travelated.com occasionally accepts well-written 400-800 word guest blog posts on travel-related topics. We also accept photo essays and posts on food or restaurants. We are very selective in the posts that we accept, so please only send your best work. Guest posts appear on Sundays under the ‘Travelations’ category.

We are interested in authentic, previously unpublished work by experienced travelers who have real insight, advice, and stories to share. Humor is most definitely welcome, but not required. Please don’t send us pieces about places you’ve never actually been.

We do not offer payment, but will include a brief author biography with a link to the author’s blog or web site. Due to the large volume of submissions we receive, it may take up to two weeks for you to receive a response.

How to Submit Your Work

Please familiarize yourself with our web site before submitting your guest post.

To submit, please paste your entire submission and a 2-3 sentence bio into the body of an email and send to editor [at] travelated [dot] com. Please do not send emails with attachments. We reserve the right to edit submissions for grammar, content, and length.

Submissions and questions should be emailed to: editor [at] travelated [dot] com. We will do our best to respond to all submissions within two weeks. You may submit only one post at a time. If you have photos to accompany your work, please indicate that in your email.

Want to Become a Regular Contributor?

Regular contributors write posts centered on the same general topic (moving abroad, life in Japan, etc.) and submit 2+ posts per month. Contributor stories are featured on the main page and on all of our social media sites. Contributors’ posts get top priority, and authors will be added to our ‘meet the team’ page. If you are interested in contributing regularly, contact Emily at editor [at] travelated [dot] com.
