The best place for a drink on the rocks in Vegas

Las Vegas is a strange place. If I drive ten minutes west, I can be on the heart of the Strip, drink in hand. If I drive ten minutes east, I can be in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by gorgeous red rocks and desert. I often head out to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area with my friend Amy…

Never neglect parking garage photography

Alex and I spent a half hour playing around on the roof of the Suncoast Casino parking garage, taking pictures. The roof has a great view of the Strip to the East and the mountains to the West. Of the dozens of photos I took, I only liked two!

The 5 people you can’t help but meet in Vegas

My fav places in Vegas that totally kick ass

As we’ve lived here for over a year now, I suppose Alex and I are now ‘locals.’ I’m a Vegas local. It sounds kinda weird, but it feels kinda good. Over the last year, we’ve been dozens of new places, tried dozens of new things, and eaten from dozens of new menus. Here is my list of my favorite places that I go regularly in Vegas, and they all kick ass at what they do.

The Travelated Team Reunites in Las Vegas

By Rease Kirchner In case you didn’t already know this, there are 3 people on the Travelated team. It seems some people think that I am Travelated, others think it is only Emily and others are aware of both of us, but almost no one seems to be aware of Alex. Alex does not write [...]

Vegas vs. Reality

Vegas vs. Reality

When you think of Las Vegas, you probably think of the over-the-top hotels and casinos that line the iconic Strip. If that’s not what you think of, just play along like it is. That said, there are several different types of casinos on the strip that might pop into your mind. There are old classics [...]
