Eden Motel

The location was excellent, the beds were so comfortable and parking was never an issue The facilities were very clean, eg pool, gym and guest laundry. The staff were all super friendly and happy, obviously a happy place to work which comes through in their interaction with the guests

I was happy with everything provided

Our stay at Eden Hotel was excellent and the room was very clean. My husband had his best nights sleep in a long time from sleeping on the comfy mattress. Even in the bathroom the rain head shower temperature was just right, nice and hot. We were even spoiled with soft fluffy towels and not just the standard white however emerald green. The kitchen was well equipped and the wi-fi connection was nice and strong. We will be recommending this Hotel to our family and friends!

It has been a revelation during our recent travel at how well some of these iconic old Motels are being so thoughtfully renovated and that so many are pet friendly! Eden Motel was really clean, comfy, great shower, beds, kitchenette facilities and access to a BBQ. The new owners Josh and Sarah are friendly and enthusiastic about taking up the challenge to continue the renovations and they are doing a great job!

Nothing that isn’t small and being addressed as they continue the great work already done.

After reviewing feedback on motels in Eden we found this little gem. Nice comfortable room with all the facilities needed for an overnight stop, kitchenette with toaster, kettle, fridge, microwave and cutler. The hotel has easy access from the road with parking right at your door. Staff also super friendly. Given its location we were a little concerned about any road noise however we did not have any noise at all during our stay. Highly recommend. Excellent value for money.

Nothing at all, amazing value for money.

The owner Holly (I didn't meet her husband Scott) was very kind, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and she encouraged me to ask for anything I needed and in fact told me on arrival I had been upgraded from the Queen room I had booked to a King room so that was a pleasant surprise. My room was spacious and very clean and the location was easy to find and quiet even though it is on the main road. The facilities are great with a gym and a pool and also a laundry.

There was nothing I didn't like about The Eden Motel

Room was spotless, roomy, huge comfy king bed. Cars parked outside your door, so you don't have to 100% unpack. Pool was nice too. Reception, very welcoming and helpful. Don't judge this motel from outside, outside it does look a bit old and tacky..but inside..wow.....I'm impressed!

Through no fault of management and I will not lower my rating for it. 1) The traffic driving past door, on the gravel, was very noisy overnight. 2) road traffic also quite noisey. 3) shower had a rainfall shower head and felt weak, but that's for my personal choice.

The room was clean and everything was relatively new. We didn't use any extra facilities on site but there are a gym and pool available.

The only thing frustrating is that we didn't find any quilt or blanket...we checked everywhere... The bed was made with a single-layer bed sheet and on the top is a grey colour bed cover (As you can see from their photos) and that's all. Nothing warm or ticker than the bedsheet that we can use as a blanket or quilt. As we only noticed this before went on bed and it was too late to ask reception, we have to use the bed cover to keep ourselves warm. Luckily the air conditioner was working fine so we turned it on to heat the room... The sleep went OK in the end. Not sure it was mean to be like this or it is because the cleaner forgot to provide the blanket.

Very clean & fresh, lovely comfy bed thus good sleep, nice sofa, cute little kitchenette, nice shower, quality bedding and towels, good wifi & tv. Perfect for travelling with pooch on long road trip (I always bring washable dog bed & blanky, dog placemat & bowls and never put her on bed or sofa). Grassy area for quick doggy walks (I bring biodegradable doggie bags). Will return in future to enjoy the heated pool & other facilities. The biggest asset - such wonderful, lovely hosts who had the vision and business acumen to create simple yet lovely and reasonably priced accomodation for pet parents. Our old rescued dog is Airbnb savvy but a motel on a long road trip was a great find. Thank you!

I only gave 4 stars for location as it is by main road and some people may want back roads or sea views but this didn’t bother at all us as location is convenient and easy to find plus views would likely add to price.

In the area doing some wildlife photography and hiking and a peligic trip out to the continental shelf to see the offshore ocean birds. Very comfortable room to use as my base for the long weekend I had in the area. No complaints.

I was cold one night and couldn't find an extra blanket or how to turn on the heater. That might have been me, it was 3am, and I was stumbling around half asleep trying to figure it out,

Really awesome pet friendly motel, lovely rooms with all you need, great useful kitchenette, comfortable beds. Rooms are quiet and peaceful. Great location close to the beach and Eden Township. Great facilities with heated pool which was lovely, gym and bbq area. Staff are all lovely and friendly. Great to have pet friendly places like this, brought my little kitten and he loved it. Thank you…
