Grafton Central Motel

The Grafton Central Motel is in an excellent location - walking distance to everything we needed whilst we stayed. Shopping precinct close by and some eating establishments also walking distance depending on what your cuisine preference is. The room in our option was one of the best in terms of cleanliness, layout for ease of moving about in the room, beautifully soaps/shampoo/conditioner for guests to use. Didn't affect us at all however if you can't do stairs you may need to ask for a lower floor location or identify if there is an alternative way to the top. It was definitely value for money and were very glad we chose this location for our stay. Will return to Grafton in the future and will stay again. Highly recommend.

All was excellent for us.

Big rooms in the our unit that comes with a living area and kitchen. Location is superb. Right next to the heritage trail street and shopping mall area. Very Comfortable beds. Free good grounded coffee that you can get anytime from the reception. Saves you from a cafè run. Excellent customer service from staff especially from Sir Pedro.

Not really a big deal as we had worked around it. But one of the rooms had the aircon dripping and ceiling fan looks a bit loose. Scary it might fall off and hit us. Rest of the property met our expectations.

Place was really clean which was a huge PLUS, bed was comfortable and the room was a good size with everything you may have needed inside. Extra pillows, extra blanket, iron & ironing board, kettle & toaster, just to name a few.

Only 1 issue and this happens in even expensive hotels I stay in and that is they forget to look up and the exhaust fan in the bathroom had not been cleaned of a while. If they fixed this issue then next time they would get the perfect score.

Great for what we needed, plenty of space in the room. Great location, so we could walk into town. Room was clean and tidy.

Poor ventilation in the bathroom, no fan and an open widow didn't help. The room would fog up even from a warm shower, and everything in the bathroom would be wet, including the floor making it very slippery.

Excellent location, easy walk to main centre. Shops just across the road. Very quiet. Whole complex is spotless, the room was best I have stayed in. I had a queen bed plus a single, separate kitchenette and ensuite. A very nice balcony to sit out on which was also spotless. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Amenities were really good, Australian made shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser. Shower was excellent. Kitchen was very well set up, Corelle crockery, amazing. Absolutely superb. I will be back.

Everything went well. Good value for money. Disappointed extra nights were booked out. Would have liked to stay longer

Stairs. As we are old, it was difficult with luggage upstairs, however, that is not a criticism, only a passing comment. We prefer downstairs, but at 6pm at night we were very fortunate to get the last room for the night.

The beds were really comfortable and the room was very spacious.

If I had to pick something, the pillows were quite hard. Also, we were on ground level but there were steps up to our room. This wasn't a problem for us but for someone with mobility issues they may not be expecting steps on a ground floor.

Room was clean and well maintained. And provided tea and coffee making facilities as well as a Micriowave. Also Hotel was located close to the centre of town.

Hotel was full and was concerNed with availability of parking although it all worked out. Bathroom was a little dated but was clean and functional.

Its easy to find and a short walk to the CBD and the bridge across the river. The beds are comfy, shower a bit pedantic and the room nice and dark for those who like a blocked out room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a great place to stay

Have stayed at Grafton Central Motel before and it is always a pleasure as the rooms and bathrooms are super super clean. They really are ahead of their game with cleanliness which, is a credit to them and their staff as it is one of the most important aspects to a comfortable stay.
