Ashton Motel

My husband liked the cereal choice - and used both his and my milk on the first morning. I felt the bed was the most comfortable ever and I wish I knew how you made the beds as the sheets stayed in place perfectly!!! . The staff involved in cleaning rooms were super friendly.

Breakfast perhaps each day and milk in the fridge for tea and coffee. We could not use the light in the bathroom as the noise of the fan was so loud. Interestingly so many of the visitors had very big cars/ utes etc which made the car park tricky for hopeless reversers like me! I have emailed you about a phone charger we left behind.

The light breakfast provided as part of the package was a great quick start to the day. Heating and blankets good - Tumut can be chilly in the evenings at the time of year we went.

A few more cleaning products under the kitchenette sink would have been useful (fortunately we had some in the car). A 'between-guests' check on TV tuning, TV remote batteries, etc. was needed.

Great location right on the river and our room overlooked the gardens and river. Very clean. The bedroom area was quite spacious with a sliding door out to the gardens.

The kitchenette, wardrobe, and shower and toilet are all crammed into a very small area, so it was a bit squishy!

Pleasing, relaxing decor coupled with spotlessly clean room (including the bathroom) made for a welcome change from many of our motel visits elsewhere. Great location in the main street of Tumut, close to plenty of restaurants, including Maccas and KFC if they are to your taste. Very comfortable bed gave me the best sleep in weeks. An actual bath in the bathroom was a heavenly bonus after competing in the local Snowy Valleys Cycle Challenge.

Honestly can't think of anything that was not to our satisfaction.

Complimentary light breakfast was included in the price. Comfortable bed, very clean room and very friendly staff. The Motel is in the centre of town and easy walking distance to motels, restaurants & cafes.

A bit of early morning noise from the council street sweeper, but happy to see a clean tidy town.

Great room nu 42 upstairs queen room. Nice and quiet. very nice staff ( check in and out staff). I would certainly recommend it Not on a small budget. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open.

Add a Plus to those questions. As they just full short a little .EG from what Little interaction i had with staff cant go higher. comfort lounge chairs full short. Breakfast although provided just for the first morning, it was a exceptional nice touch. Just a tad on the expensive side.

The free breakfast in the cute little bags was lovely. Just what one would need to start the day. The staff were lovely and all went well, mostly. There was a problem with the reverse-cycle air conditioners, but they were fixed immediately and we were able to come back to a lovely warm room. Most helpful and friendly.

All was lovely really. The only small niggle would be that the room was facing a brick wall about 2 metres from it, that was down an 'alley-way' to the back of the property, so if you wanted to open your curtains/blinds passers by would be about 30 cm from your window at direct eye level. Opted instead to have a dark room where no-one would be able to view our presence. All was clean and perfectly lovely otherwise. Would definitely stay again, but perhaps in another room. Parking was also a bit cramped - with so many large SUV type vehicles in small restricted spots, it was almost impossible to park in front of the room (or close by it).

Great stopover. The room was like a mini suite with a separate living area that could be closed off from the bedroom; two Tv's. Pleasantly surprised. Mattress very comfortable. Light breakfast a bonus. Would definately stay again and recommend! Good central location.

Great to have on-site parking but getting out easily can be a little tricky when busy especially if in a larger vehicle.

great last minute booking ! we stayed ion a few hotels over the weekend as we were travelling for the long weekend and this one was the best an so comfy ! as the weather is getting colder we thought we’d might get cold but an electric blanket was provided and we were warm. staff are so friendly also would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

The addition of a free light breakfast was welcomed. The location was central which was great. The facilities were very good especially for a few nights stay.

The bathroom facilities were ok, lighting was an issue and would have preferred a separate shower.
