Sanctuary Palm Cove

This is a lovely property in a lush, green setting; very private and calming. Our apartment was great; very spacious, clean, modern and well appointed. The pool area was wonderful as well. The on-site staff we dealt with were very friendly. The property’s close proximity to the beach and esplanade made walking to things easy.

The area was experiencing a severe heatwave when we arrived, and we were disappointed to enter our apartment to find all the windows open and the interior extremely hot. It would have been nice if the apartment had been cooled even partially ahead of our arrival, as it took several hours for the AC to bring the inside temperature down to an acceptable level once we set it.

When we entered our unit we were amazed at the size of it. It was absolutely spectacular. Loved it. It had everything we needed. We liked the glass louvres as you could leave them open at night and they kept the place nice and cool as it was pretty hot. The ceiling fans were good too. The pool was lovely, a good temperature and a very good size. No-one else was using it when we were, so private too. The hosts were very nice and the whole property was extremely clean and well-maintained. It was surrounded by beautiful gardens. We loved it here and wished we had stayed longer.

Wonderful property for family of 3. Very comfortable beds, great shower and bath and kitchen has literally everything you need. Like, everything! Coffee and tea initially provided but there is Coles 5 mins drive away to stock up on food. Really lovely stay. The family that run property are fantastic, always replied promptly to emails before we stayed and provided toys, high chair and cot for out little one. Location is literally 2 min walk to beach and Palm Cove is fantastic - beautiful beach and lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants to chose from.

Our stay at Sanctuary Cove exceeded our expectations . We were lucky enough to be given the Retreat room which opened straight onto the pool deck . The Retreat offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay, a comfy bed and pillows , a large bathroom with a good shower . A full kitchen with a large fridge , good laundry facilities and a lovely spa bath . A truely wonderful unit . The pool was clean and clear and at a beautiful temperature for swimming . It also had a shade cloth over part of the pool to give shade from the heat of the day . The pool deck had plenty of sunbeds for lazing in the sun . The huge grounds were kept neat and tidy and had a lovely wetlands are in the centre which attracted bird life and turtles . Sanctuary Cove is situated at the northern end of Palm Cove , a short walk to the beack and central to all restaurants , shops and little supermarket. It is important to book into restaurants for a meal to not be disappointed . A really wonderful spot for rest and recuperation , we we will return.

An oasis of peace and tranquility right next to the beach at Palm Cove but away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. The pool area, being surrounded by stunning trees and next to a beautiful pond, offered total relaxation. I was given the ‘Retreat’ to stay in, again hidden within bushland and surrounded by a host of native wildlife, it was fully equiped with high quality facilities. it was furnished beautifully and really felt like a home from home. All staff I encountered were wonderfully friendly and helpful.

The apartment was so spacious and surrounded by greenery. We had so many different areas to sprawl out into for different activities and times of day, we particularly loved the coffee lounge with all the glass door open to the outdoors. Fantastic full kitchen with everything you could need. Secretly hidden down one end of the strip, but just across the road from the back entry to the Lifesavers Club. Super comfy and relaxing. Highly recommend.

The apartment was very spacious, clean and had everything you need to create a great atmosphere for a family holiday. Our apartment felt like it was in the treetops and my toddler loved listening to the kookaburras sing at breakfast at the big dining table. The kitchen was very well appointed for home cooking. We also loved parking our car in the secure basement and coming straight up via the lift. Very good for families who need good accessibility, have children etc.

I can’t fault much. We spoke to the owners who I think are looking to update parts of the property however we enjoyed it as it was!

Wld have loved to have a few more basics food wise in the apartment - it was clear that there wouldn’t be from the description, so no disappointment, but wld have been a lovely touch to have some local products there for a snack or breakfast on arrival as we arrived late and had missed shops so didn’t have any snacks after our trip or breakfast the next morning.

Beautifully appointed, spacious and immaculate apartment set in lovely tropical gardens. It was peaceful with only the sounds of the birds and sheltered from the wind. Lovely pool next to the billabong. My mother and I stayed five nights and felt thoroughly relaxed and refreshed.

The location just off the main street was ideal, away from the wind and people noise. the apartment itself was large and had everything we needed and more. The grounds had beautiful gardens and a fantastic pool. We felt as though we were on our own tropical island The managers of the property were friendly and so helpful. We loved the place!!!!
