The breakfast supplies were amazing and the restocking fairy also came throughout our stay. The supply of salt & pepper grinders, cling wrap, foil, paper towel are nice touches for a home away from home. Great cooking facilities too. Easy 20 min walk into main street bars, cafes & restaurants also wineries close by. The cottage and surrounding gardens are beautiful. Langmeil Cottages offers so much more than a place to sleep - sauna, spa, bicycles and the owners are so lovely and friendly, a pleasure to meet. Highly recommend a stay here.

Nothing to improve - absolutely perfect.

The cottage was peaceful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Thoughtful & ample breakfast provisions (including fresh milk & bread from Apex Bakery), bubbles & chocolates, as well as access to bikes and a laundry. Close to the excellent Langmeil winery.

A little far to walk to Tanunda restaurants etc in the heat, but likely a good walk in mild or cool weather. Whilst we were very grateful for the air con on a 35 degree day and hot night, it was rather noisy. Nice to sit outside for breakfast, though our Flaxman cottage looked out over the car park. The other cottages would have had a more attractive, green and shaded aspect to enjoy.

Quiet location. Spa and sauna for private use. Pretty garden outlook. Excellent and plentiful breakfast provisions and sparkling wine/ chocolates were greatly appreciated. Friendly owners and available by phone when they couldn’t be there. Provided some undercover parking for our motorbikes which was great on the rainy day.

It was very hard to heat up the cottage with only a split system air conditioner with high ceilings, stone walls and cold tiles on floor in living area. However a small portable heater was available which helped. No TV in bedroom area.

The cottage is centrally located to enable easy driving to all attractions and exploring more widely throughout the area. The facilities provided were comfortable and well equipped, including more than adequate provisions for breakfast and additional touches of complimentary bottle of bubbly and chocolates.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Barossa and would stay again should we be lucky enough to return sometime.

breakfast was sufficient, though we would have expected locally made muslie or similar, also locally made jam or marmalade Beerenburg farm make excellent products in small containers. the cottage was ideally located, quiet, in pleasant garden.

the information stated that the cottage would be serviced daily, but this was not the case, we had to request extra tea towel and rubbish bags which we needed for a four night stay. we would also suggest that a Doona quilt would be preferable to heavy blankets, which are not good for alergy sufferers

A nice cottage (semi-detached, one of four) in a great location only a short walk into Tanunda. The swimming pool was great on one of the very hot days! The owners were very friendly people and we had some interesting chats.

For us, a firmer bed would have been better (but we know that some people like them softer).

The supply of cereals, breads , milk and condiments was sufficient for us. A nice touch. And there was also a container with sweet biscuits. Coffee/tea sachets were plentiful. We had a problem with the t.v reception but my husband went to the house to let them know and Cynthia was more than helpful and fixed it whilst we were out. The owners are in the background if you need anything. I was also impressed with the supply of hand sanitiser and a can of Glen 20. They have thought of everything.. Check in and out Is contactless. Really impressed with how they have adapted their business to suit the times. Very covid safe. The decor is a bit olde worlde , with doileys dotted around the place but it was comfortable enough. The aiconditioner/heating system could probably do with an update but the heater was efficient and kept us warm. It was just rather loud.

Not a fan of blankets. Would be nicer to have a doona.

Amazing location, good value, hospitable and attentive hosts (including a thoughtful delivery of hot cross buns and Easter eggs for Easter). We stayed in the Hoffman cottage (one of four) and it was the perfect base to explore the Barossa. Each of the cottages looked fairly similar so I don't think it matters too much which one you stay in. Bikes and spa were an added bonus which we utilised. Laundry was convenient for washing/ironing. The facilities in the cottage included extra blankets and pillows, plenty of towels, thoughtful breakfast supplies, a small functional kitchen with all the basics. Check in and check out were absolutely seamless.

Slightly dated but in my opinion adds to the homely charm. TV'S had DVD players but were not smart TV'S so if you wanted to be able to stream, you would need your laptop/devices. Or just bring or borrow one of the provided books!

We had a very convenient stay during a period of unusual bad weather in the Barossa Valley. Heating worked well, had even an electric blanket in our bed! Cottage was comfy, bubbles as welcome gift were highly appreciated and there was everything we needed for breakfast in the fridge. If the weather had been better we would surely have used the provided bicycles much more.

The only thing we could think of: It was a little dark in the cottage due to natural stone walls, but that's a minor concern.

I feel like this place is a hidden gem. The attention to detail from the owners was exceptional even down to milk, bread, biccies and bubbles all supplied for you. The cabins are full of character, it isn't super modern but crucially the bathroom was up to date and everything was spotlessly clean. In a way it made it more comfy and really feel like a home away from home. The location is just behind the main road. HUGE BONUS - they have bicycles you can borrow for free and e-bike hire on site at a super reasonable rate - no rushing back and forth from a hire place. Really this is fab and would recommend!
