Orana Motor Inn

The location was very convenient to Mildura city centre, only 8-10 mins drive. Liked the undercover parking in front of room. The staff were very friendly. There was a petrol station with convenience store straight across the road called OTR. The Irymple hotel was 2 min walk and the food fantastic, best steak sandwiches!! The room was a good size and clean and bed very comfortable. There was plenty of table/bench space to put things.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The outdoor shared garden/pool area is a very pleasant space to sit and relax at the end of the day. The motel is within easy walking distance of a supermarket - very handy.

Really, everything was great but I found the mattress was too firm for me. My partner agreed it was a firmer mattress than he preferred but it did not worry him as much. I did not sleep well for the first three nights but we sorted out my problem by buying a memory foam mattress topper from a nearby bedding store and the 4th and 5th night’s sleep of our stay were much more comfortable. Other than that, we were very happy with Orana and would return to stay again…bringing our mattress topper next time!

Very friendly helpful management. We arrived late and they directed us to nearby places where we could still get dinner. The rooms are large and comfortable, great bed and good powerful shower. The best part about this hotel is that it is not on the main drag so you do not suffer the traffic noise that you get with the other motels. The motel is a bit away from the centre of town but there is a good pub and good take-aways nearby.

Did get a bit of noise from the neighbour's air-conditioner during the night.

The check-in process was fast and simple, the location was good, having a hotel across the road where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. There was a servo on another corner where we could re-fuel. Under-cover parking was a bonus. The room was very clean and quite comfortable for an overnight stay.

The room is a little tired and could do with a make-over, but everything worked and was very clean

A one week booking turned into a month long stay! Our room was spotlessly cleaned daily and the outdoor area always kept impeccable. All staff are incredible but a special shout-out is needed for the very friendly and kind Tanya. The room was fully equipped with everything we needed, beds comfy, showers great, on-site parking and fast wifi. Owners Jackie and Ron went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic, they couldn’t have been any more welcoming, friendly or helpful. Can’t fault the Motel.

The motel was easy to find and although on the main road almost no traffic noise. The owner was very helpful with accommodating the needs of one of our group who had mobility problems. Had a comfortable sleep. And the room was equipped with crockery and dishwashing liquid- all very helpful.

The owners were so friendly and full of local knowledge, they’ve thought of everything; towels provided in the pool area, multiple shaded outdoor areas, beautiful gardens, immaculate rooms, windscreen wash facilities, undercover parking, small and affordable minibar items, microwave in room.

Nothing, it was perfect

Value for money. The friendliness of hosts at check in and check out. Is one of the cleanest motels I have stayed in. Although a older style motel all facilities were excellent. Microwave crockery and cutlery were provided. Will definitely stop here next time in Mildura and will recommend to my freinds when they travel to Mildura. Undercover parking for car and bucket and squeegees for washing windscreen.

Nothing not to like

The managers were happy to arrange a Covid-safe no-contact check-in, which I much appreciated. They also knew a large group was coming in late and that I'd arrive and leave early, so without asking they put me in the quietest room available. Really super-considerate people. Will stay here now whenever I pass thru the area.

We received a very warm, cheerful welcome on arrival. Linen and utensils in the room were fresh and clean. There is a shopping centre and a couple of restaurants within walking distance which was very convenient after a long day of travelling. A great spot to hang your hat with all the conveniences of home.
