Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Rooms were great, the location was perfect and excellent breakfast included.

Great location - close to restaurants and shopping centre. Room basic but very clean and neatly presented. Perfect for our overnight stopover. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast a highlight - not only was it free, but a good range, including; cereals, different breads, fruit, yoghurt, cold meats and cheese, juice and the all important coffee!

Only a very minor thing - walls on the “thin” side - could hear voices/tv through walls. Not enough to make out what was being said. Understand this is common in complexes that share walls and was not a big issue. To be fair, the motel was at capacity.

The bed was super comfy & we slept very well. We had a downstairs room which was perfect as I'd injured my knee. The complimentary breakfast is amazing, so much to choose from.

Hmm, I think they could do with a streaming service of some description, prime, paramount or netflix. Free to air is rubbish & it would have been great to have another option. Allocated parking would also be good. Then you know you have a parking space when you return, esp in the evenings.

Greeted with genuine gratitude. Super clean rooms and beyond normal presentation and inclusion of condiments. Bed comfortable. Darkening of the room was easy. Well spaced and high ceilings. The continental breakfast was outstanding. You will not receive this anywhere else, and if you do, you would pay twice the price. If you want exceptional value for money; this is the place. Very close to main shopping strip; another bonus.

Leaving the premises. It went too quick, and I was amazed at the variety of options at breakfast.

Breakfast was continental and various things to choose from. A good coffee with the machine was bonus. Friendly staff and refilled food items. Location was good, in town. Room was newly renovated bathroom and toilet. Clean and spacious. Good quality supply of bathroom soap and shampoo.

The bathroom exhaust fan was very noisy. Kids in upstairs rooms were very noisy and running around the corridor. The room door lock was not working properly and we were not able to lock the door well, did notify the staff.

1. Breakfast can be improved. For continental breakfast it did not have egg ….poached fried or boiled🤷. Usually sausages/Frankfurt’s are included, more fruit variety? I noticed a more senior presence amongst the guests sometimes these items of food are needed for health needs for the aged population. 2. My wife has a recent knee condition which makes her use a walking aid. At the time of booking I forgot to mention this. We were allocated a room on the first floor which would have been impossible for her.Reception staff quickly issued a ground level room. Luckily we checked in early. The accomodation was fully booked that day. Thank You for this service.

We stayed one night in Matador on this holiday season. it was a very pleasant experience right from the beginning. The owner was very helpful and make sure our extra requests fulfilled in timely manner. We were upgraded into a newly renowated two rooms and both were exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfy to sleep in and water flow in showers very good. Kids love the time in pool before sunset. The complimentary breakfast is a very thoughtful idea and we really enjoyed it before check out. The lady in charge Is very pleasant and shared her experience in hospitality with us as well. We highly recommended Matador to stay in when you travel into Sale and surrounding areas. Thanks Matador team and we will be coming back for sure in the near future.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was neat and clean and had the bare essentials provided. The pool was nice. The breakfast was really nice and offered lots of choices. I really enjoyed that. Good parking. Good location. A cosy place to stay and reasonably priced.

The good location also meant noise, which I guess can't be helped. A shame the ground floor balcony had a high brick wall instead of even just a partial view so you don't feel locked in. The beds were a little hard but that's just a personal preference. No USB outlets for charging devices, but that's no big deal. The pool area could use some plants/chairs or something to give it a bit more of an atmosphere. All these things are pretty minor and more of an observation rather than a complaint. Overall pretty happy with the stay.

room was very comfortable, loved that it had a little outside patio to site in that was a surprise). Had breakfast and there was plenty to eat and drink.

Parking is not allocated and not enough spaces to fit all the rooms. We parked out on the street. Not a big detail for us however that was the only thing we could pick that we did not expect. If you have difficulty walking/wheel chairs then make sure you arrive early to secure a parking space.
