Kimberley Sands Resort

Room was spacious. Shower was strong and hot (I had read reviews that it had been a problem) Bathroom was modern and well appointed. Breakfast was good -another surprise as I didn’t realise a basic breakfast was included. We loved the location. Walking distance to Cable beach. Very short walk for bus stop and a convenience store/cafe

It was a little tired in some areas. A safer place to store luggage would be a great investment. Pool needs shade cloth. Gardens could be great with a little more care. Car ports with solar panels could keep cars cool and provide sustainable solar energy and not detract from hotel’s appearance.

I was recommended by a friend who went on business to Broome to stay at Kimberly sands. As it was my first trip to Broome I had no idea what to except. The location to cable beach and close proximity to bus services is very convenient. The pool area was amazing and was one of the highlights. I have to make special mention of the staff. Whilst still in the booking stage I spoke to Amira at reception. After speaking to Amira I knew I had picked the right place. I was impressed with her professionalism her proficiency . I decided Kimberly Sands was for us purely based after speaking to Amira. It didn’t stop there. Then upon meeting her in person , she went to great lengths to make my mums and I trip comfortable and memorable. Sofia was another lovely lady at reception who couldn’t do enough for us both . Sofia took the time to assist us with any of our queries . These two ladies is why I’d come back to Kimberly Sands . Very genuine and polite.

Some suggestions . Water station near pool area. So you can access water all day when bar is closed . Have pool towels located near pool area easy access.

Excellent disabled bathroom with easy access around 90 percent of the property. The room was comfortable and large. Staff friendly and helpful.

Needs 2 chairs in the room as someone always had to sit on the bed. Missing a small table perhaps outside so we could sit and have a meal/drink - We could not use the pool type lounges due to mobility issues. Mosquitos - please sell repellent at reception. This is a normal issue for Broome but would have saved us trying to locate some. Pancake machine didn't work, toaster didn't work well, urn broke (great breakfast but frustrating with appliances not working)

Room and pool was awesome. Short walk to beach and food places.

Not there fault and they did tell us that the restaurant closed down. Not many staff around due to closing soon.

The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Even though our room was at the front of the hotel, it was still quiet. The room was comfortable, clean and welcoming. The dining experience was wonderful, great service and fabulous food. We had a cocktail by the pool, lovely and relaxing. The pool was beautiful. The location was perfect.

The bar could have opened earlier. An ice machine would have been handy. Some flexibility with options for breakfast, not everyone wants a full breakfast.

This was an extremely pleasant resort - clean, very comfortable, well-equipped, excellent facilities, and a lovely large pool. The staff were very pleasant and helpful - even offered free late checkout, as we were flying out in the afternoon. We had breakfast and lunch here, and both meals were excellent. The location is just a short walk to Cable Beach.

I cannot think of anything to complain about.

the staff never mentioned the fitness room which I would have liked to use. I had requested a late check out as our flight had been changed and we weren’t leaving till later but this wasn’t accommodated. I had requested some acknowledgment of the fact that we were there as a surprise for my husband’s 60th birthday but there wasn’t even a wish of happy birthday from the receptionist. Speaking of ‘’happy hour’, the bar was not open at 3 in Sunday as expected, despite a sign saying so.

I loved the Kimberley sands resort was very welcoming and had a comfortable feel about it

Only thing would be the bathroom the showers leak water everywhere and the lighting isn’t great even with the lights on the bathrooms are dark it’s hard to see in the mirror but other than those minor things loved it.

Nice big and airy rooms with plenty of storage space. The outdoor relaxation areas were a great place to chill-out and read a book.

Rooms were sometimes not cleaned until mid-afternoon. Quite a few of the drinks on the restaurant menu were not available. Like most hotels, inadequate lighting.

Pool was lovely, rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Limited dinner menu but it was delicious.

No lunch menu. Very limited dinner menu. Cocktails were shocking. Very expensive and no knowledge whatsoever on how to make them. We had rotten mint blended all through one of ours. Receptionist incredibly rude. Phoned at 6pm to ask a question, answered angrily and told it was closed - and was this an emergency?! Paying guests should be able to contact reception during their stay.
