The Rose Hotel & Motel

I had asked for a downstairs room and that is what I was put in - thank goodness! The room was spacious and had a wardrobe, inbuilt cupboard, small round table and two chairs, and of course the bed with a table on each side with a lamp. Coffee and tea provided The bathroom was clean, towels soft and fluffy. Large walk-in shower and water pressure great. Shampoo, conditioner and hand soap provided. On-site parking available. $25 voucher for food and drinks each day.

It was very hard to fill the kettle.

I love the Rose Hotel and Motel . I have stayed here many times and it is always very clean, fresh and comfortable. The bed is very comfortable and clean, and the whole room, although basic, is very spacious. The location is fabulous!! The reception staff always greet you warmly and go above and beyond to make you welcome and to assist in any way, the hotel staff do the same thing. The accommodation and the hotel food and drinks are very well priced, and the $25 bar/restaurant voucher is an excellent bonus.

When we arrived the lady in reception was very pleasant and helpful and organised a room to suit our needs. I thought the food in the restaurant was very good and staff pleasant. They were very busy but the girl came to say they hadn't forgotten about us which was good. I would certainly recommend the hotel and restaurant to my friends

I would have like if there was an armchair in the room but there was not the space for that. We went out for a while and it was very hard to get parking when we came back because it was a busy time and there is not parking reserved for people who are staying at the hotel which is understandable.

We loved how close it was to the bunbury centre. We also liked how close it was to the beach. It was clean and perfect for our small trip down south. The staff were very nice and friendly. The motel area is really nice and loved the cozy vibe.

The hotel definitely has a bit of a run-down look at first glance, but the rooms are modern and very well maintained. There should be a little more clarity on where the reception is as it's separated from the actual hotel.

The bed was very comfy and the room and bathroom clean with nice touches like toiletries and extra pillows and towels. The staff in the motel and the restaurant were lovely and accommodating and the meal vouchers were fantastic, best meals I had on my trip by far.

It can be quite loud in the morning with delivery trucks and cars but the pigeons were the worst. If you want an early start than its fine as there is loads to do but if someone prefers a sleep in, Perhaps using feed elsewhere to keep them away from the rooms would be an idea?

I really liked the dinner voucher that was included in my stay. The location was excellent right near restaurants cafes pubs .the room was very quiet and comfortable. The staff were really friendly. Excellent

I did get a knock on the door by the cleaning staff at around 8.15 which I thought could have waited until checkout time. Considering I had a late night out . That’s really all I could suggest that could be improved upon.

The location of the hotel is wicked. Within walking distance to shops etc. the room was clean with tea n coffee , shampoo and conditioner. The shower was great. Easy parking outside the room. Dinner at the Rose was great and the $25.00 voucher we got on arrival was fantastic.

Nothing. There wasn’t anything not to like. The room was comfy, parking was easy, near shops. Great I ecream shop over the road. Surf shop next door. Everything was fine.

Loved staying at the Rose. The meals in the pub were the best pub meals we have had. The $25 voucher per night is a great way to entice you into the pub and we definately were not disappointed with the meals. Went back the next night. Leanne at the front desk was so friendly and this certainly got our holiday off to a great start. Only one thing that could be improved in the motel room would be the addition of a clock or clock radio.d

Addition of a clock would be great and bit better main light as it was quite dark in the corner near the fridge. On the whole these are only minor things

Location was excellent as we could walk to nice breakfast cafe's and to the water and through town. Bed very comfy. We had dinner at the hotel both nights which was delicious and the $25 voucher per night was a great bonus. Best value cocktails at $12 (or $10 in happy hour). Would definately stay again.

Possibly could have been asked at check in if I needed a hair dryer instead of finding there wasn't one in the room and having to go source one. Minor inconvenience.

Prior to booking, we checked recent reviews and found them to accurately reflect this property. We had a large room (1 queen bed + 1 single) with a convenient study desk. The bathroom appeared to have been recently renovated and the shower was very large. Soap, shampoo and conditioner provided for each night's stay (2), along with 2 $25 vouchers for the Rose Hotel restaurant next door. Note: you must use each day's voucher that day at the hotel, or it won't be valid - ie on a 2 night visit, you will need to visit both days and use 1 voucher only per visit. This is excellent value, especially as the hotel offers good menu specials each day that are entirely covered by the voucher. Our special thanks to the bottleshop staff who processed our reception on the Sunday afternoon of our arrival - they couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

My only suggestion would be that a higher table would be convenient for those wanting to dine in on take-away. A microwave and/or toaster would also be convenient for breakfast.
