Austria Trend Hotel Europa Wien

The Location is outstanding. 4 minutes walk from Stephansplatz underground station. A minute to a wonderful takeaway food market called “ Henry’s” where you can get sandwiches, salads, fresh juices, breads. There is a superb French cafe directly across the platz. The Habsburg crypt is in the same square. A minutes walk to fantastic shopping. Beds were comfy, Bathroom nice, incl tub. We had a spacious corner room overlooking the platz and fountain. Good staff. Great hotel.

The lift area needs updating. It is old and tired looking, however there are 2 lifts & these are quick and efficient - no waiting. Needs a ramp up the few stairs from lift to lobby.

Fantastic city centre location, the room was comfortable and clean and the facilities were perfectly good. Breakfast was very good, and all the staff were very helpful. Particular thanks to Markus who even book restaurants for us. Overall, it was good value for money. We will stay here again when we return to Vienna.

Sky sports on the TV would have been a bonus.

The hotel staff was very polite and helpfull. Thank you! Danke! The hotel was very good, situated in the city center, on a main shopping street, with lots of shops and restaurants in the nearby. The main tourist landmarks were a walking distance to the hotel and the subway station was few steps from the hotel. The St. Stephan Dom and The Opera House were a short walking distance. The room and the bathroom were large, clean and sunny. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room was very large and nice.

The room was cold in the first days, but it was cold outdoors too. The window opened only a little bit, but there was enough fresh air in my room.

After reading the reviews I must state that the breakfast was much better than expected, very fine and very tasty selection of meals, cheeses etc., indeed pleasure! The location is wonderful, air condition very comfortable and especially some 50 m distance to garage parking space is huge advantage, really huge one. You also get 25% discount to hotel bar and you can then sit outside and enjoy your drink in the heart of Vienna, which is convenient. Really polite and smiling cleaning staff, quite pleasant surprise. Overall very fine option in the center of Vienna!

Some details are surprising, as for example missing bottle opener in the room (I was really searching for it), not working light in the corridor. I would definitely expect male staff, when seeing ladies with big luggage, to help and not to just "stare". It seems as neglectable "issue", however I find it quite important.

Great location, a walking distance from all the main attractions. The breakfast is very good and so is the bar. The rooms are nice and cozy. What was truly exceptional is the hotel’s staff, especially with the professional and welcoming Elena Konezny at the reception who truly made our stay remarkable. She checked us in upon arrival, provided recommendations for our stay and assisted with all the questions we had.

The facilities and the rooms themselves are a bit old, the air conditioning isn’t powerful enough for the heat in June. The bathroom is quite small in the room we got. Our room was quite noisy as we had an internal door leading to the room next to us.

The hotel is in the most perfect location, basically in the middle of the city. We didn't opt for the breakfast though, as there were so many different places to go to for something to eat. The bar was also a really good place to grab a drink, or two 😁, before heading off up to bed. The beds were really comfortable, as were the pillows, a good night's sleep was had by all. The bar staff were amazing, really rather funny, which, IMO, is important and something I prefer, a little bit of banter with the guests goes a long way with me and leads to a good tip!!

The shower cubicle. The location of the shower head itself was in a stupid place, you basically have to stand against the wall to shower, otherwise the floor gets absolutely soaked.

Everything was great here! Almost all the staff was amazing- every staff member would stop to greet us, even the maids (I had one negative interaction at check-in, but it was short, didn’t last the entire interaction and was overwhelmed by everyone else being so terrific). The rooms were great! Spacious, so comfortable, had an extra pillow! I missed extra pillows this trip! The bathrooms were also large, though some people might be put off by the shaded glass doors. Plenty of toiletry supplies, too. Breakfast (not included) was a buffet with so many options I couldn’t begin to try them all, but everything was fresh and delicious. The buffet included an omelet station. There are elevators, small, but more than one and pretty quick- I never had to wait for the next one. My view was of the plaza, and it was quite nice. It was also quiet, which I did not expect. The location was super close to a lot of attractions and a U-Bahn station for further away things.

I thought everything was so great!

LOCATION. Location for a young family with an infant is perfect. You can go in all directions for 2-3 hours by foot and a stroller and if you want you can come back to the hotel quite quickly to change diapers and rest or play with the baby. It was an utmost important thing for us as the weather was not all day pleasant during our stay in March. SPACIOUS ROOM. there was plenty of room in our (that was a double room I guess, but the photos in booking looked artificial, but those actually were true) so we were happy that there was plenty of space to play.

The water tap was not funcitoning properly. It was difficult to set warm water for baby to wash. Extra steps made it necessary to lift the stroller once in a while.

The location was superb. The hotel was lovely and the room was large. We were pleased to get an early check in as our flight arrived at 9:30 a.m. The reception and dining room staff were pleasant, helpful, attentive and professional. Reception staff were knowledgeable in giving us directions to attractions, printing tickets for us and providing suggestions. Breakfast offered a wide selection and it was a pleasant dining room. Beds were comfy, room was very clean, bathroom was large. I would definitely stay there again.

There was nothing I didn't like. Wifi was a bit slow, but who cares? I don't go to Vienna to sit on a computer!
