Nice location

I booked a room for 3 people. The room had a sofa-bed for my son, but it was extremely uncomfortable, since the mattress was very thin. I got disappointed, because when you book and pay a room for 3 you expect all guests to be able to sleep at a nice bed, even if it is a sofa bed. As the hotel would not offer any solution, I suggested they provide me a regular single mattress. The employees were not very friendly, but as my son was competing in the Fencing World championship, he needed to rest. After all they agreed with my solution, but I would expect that a good hotel with make their best to solve the problem long discussions.

Rooms were clean and very modern. They had usb and usbc outlets which is convenient and not found in many hotels here. Complementary water and small cakes on entering the room was a nice touch. The outdoor area of the hotel was secluded and had nice trees with plenty of seating nearby so it would be nice for children who get antsy in a hotel to run around and play while parents relax nearby. It was away from the centre so it was also quiet.

Location was a bit far from the centre but it's walkable depending on your definition (20-30 min which was fine for us but maybe not others) and was close to some more local cafes. We chose not to get the breakfast because we thought it was overpriced compared to other 4 star hotels we've stayed in.

Breakfast now included peeled, cut fruits - kiwi, pineapple, etc. For me this was a big change since my previous stays. Still the breakfast is one of main reasons to keep coming back to this hotel.

I hate the coffee automats and the quality of the coffee at breakfast. Unfortunately this is the standard hotel experience. It is a norm for the coffee to suck big time. I expected a bath tub, as sometimes the room update did included a bath tub. Without it it was just the regular room.

Everything was very nice, they looked at the little things like a welcome not with little cakes, I said I was coming withmy dog so room was prepared with dog bed and water bowl, had a complimenty water.... . Room was very nice and grounds were very nice. Breakfast was very nice with fresh omelet cook there. Will be staying again when I go to Plovdiv. Staff were very nice, freindly and ready to help. Am a USA expat and this is the nices hotel I have stayed at in Bulgaria.

Only thing was (it is still well within walking distance) little from center but comfortable to walk to.

We had an amazing time in the hotel for a several times now, but this time was exceptional. The receptionists are very kind, smiley and helpful. The rooms were very clean and had a compliment water and candies when we checked in. The food in restaurant 42, was very delicious without ahy remark. Certainly you have to check the whiskey library on the rooftop floor. The guy knew what whiskey to offer to us, a slight jazz music was playing, the setting was incredible with the view to to Plovdiv. The SPA was also another joy in the Imperial’s paradise-very clean and chill. You should definately book a massage their. I am very delighted of my stay and will come again for sure!

The massage in the spa was amazing. I would highly recommend. Bed was comfortable, very clean room. They had a safe, the first we've seen in Bulgaria. Staff was okay, helpful in calling taxis.

No reasonably priced breakfast. Location is a bit far, about a mile to central. Temperatures were very hot so we used taxis as it was too hot to walk. Shower enclosure could be improved.

Very good service provision, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, nice garden and spacy areas. Very comfortable bed and bathroom. Huge smart-tv screen.

As I am visiting the hotel for more than 20 years, the only negative point I can streess out is that it is not value for money any more. Other than this everything is excellent. I think the prices can be more competitive having in mind that plenty of hotels are now available throughout the city of Plovdiv.

had an incredible experience at the Imperial Hotel Plovdiv. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the room was spacious and luxurious with a breathtaking view. The General Manager's attention to detail and dedication to guests made the stay exceptional. The hotel's facilities were top-notch, and the central location was perfect for exploring the city. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay.

I really enjoyed the staff, who were very attentive and available, and for me this is an important detail. The food in the restaurant was also particularly good, which was a great surprise.

Bed sheet and bed cover don't fit the size of the bed either, there's no mattress or pillow covers which is not very hygienic, although everything was very cleaned.

The hotel is clean with a good spa and a good breakfast!

In my opinion, it's not located in a very good area, the restaurant doesn't have a good choice for lunch or dinner and looks expensive for what they offer. The spa and breakfast are not included in the price so you have to pay separately which is strange, because don't meet the expectation of value!
