Angkor Aurora

As a solo traveller, it’s always challenging when something goes wrong because you’re very much on your own. I unfortunately got Travellers Tummy and was poorly for a couple of days which meant I had to extend my stay. The staff were absolutely incredible. They checked in on me, went to get juice for me when I couldn’t move and were brilliant- could not have asked for more. The bed is super comfortable; lovely mattress, new bouncy pillows and a lovely bright, spacious room. the balcony was perfect for reading and watching the sun disappear over the roof tops. The bath was big and spacious, with a separate shower. The hot water takes a minute to come through, so turn it on before you want to get in- not once you’re in!

There is a school right next door and they are very keen on using a whistle!

Beautiful, modern and clean hotel, only a short walk to the centre. The beds were so comfy, room was spotless and plenty of space for luggage etc. The pool was so nice to take a dip after a day of exploring. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in, in SE Asia! The staff? Oh they were so beautiful, friendly and kind, always asking and checking in with us to make sure our stay was ok. The girl from Battambang (sorry I can’t remember her name) was fantastic, helped us book our activities and was so kind! Thank you to all at Angkor Aurora!

Nothing it was superb!

The staff at the front desk was very friendly and personable. The room was big and comfortable for my group of 4. The room for my friend's family was slightly smaller but also comfortable for her group of 3. Pub Street was about 5 mins walk away and there were local eateries around the hotel where we had tasty noodles and a beef stew for breakfast. There was a convenience shop less than 5 mins walk away selling snacks, drinks and necessities.

Rain water from the balcony leaked from the edge of the balcony door into my room. Luckily it flowed from the door to the bathroom right next to the balcony and was easily dried by placing a towel along the balcony door. It didn't affect the comfort of the room.

I loved the professional demeanor of all the staff, especially the receptionist, both were great. They both went out of their way to make you feel welcome and happy to be there. The beds are unbelievably comfortable. I would love to know where they purchased those great pillows.

There are no TV Channels available to watch. You must watch YouTube only. It would be nice if this lovely hotel would just pay for simple cable TV. This is the only draw back, especially if you are a news junkie.

It has a great pool. Swimming felt great after a long day of exploring Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming.

The property lacks a restaurant, and I believe it could benefit from a local food tour. However, we took advantage of the property's proximity to an excellent Khmer cuisine restaurant directly across the street.

I love everything about the place including the location, cleanness, facilities, and especially the team. The teams are super duper friendly and helpful which you do not feel any hesitate to ask for help or anything. Highly recommend ANGKOR AURORA

Everything there was wonderful, we had really good time staying there. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful especially Mr.Pisey she help us a lot. The first night wifi didn't work but that's okay it fix after we let them know. So, everything was wonderful we will stay there again in our next trip to SR.

Not at all

The lady who checked us in I think I called her Sarah, she was very kind and helpful. She spoke excellent English and was very friendly. The entire staff was outstanding.

One minor issue was that the refrigerator was not cold. Our food and drinks stayed warm during our 2 night stay. It was the only issue we had with the room. In a hot country, we should be able to have cold drinks from the refrigerator.

great location, immaculately clean room, best shower I’ve had in SE Asia in 2 months! Sarah at reception was a sweetheart, the most friendliest staff at this hotel. clean refreshing swimming pool ☺️

I liked everything

Nice location and good for value! There are some restaurants nearby and it's not far from Pub street. All the staff is very kind and helpful. Room is spacious and clean.

There was a pub with live music next to the hotel so we could hear noise from our room. Luckily it did not continue until late night. And the bed is a bit hard.
