Motel 6 Brooks AB

Outside appreance is deceiving, our roomwas a very clean and had very comfortable beds, possibly new. Room was large and represented the advertised picture. Also probably one of the only hotels we've stayed in the last 4 weeks with good room lighting. We was able to sort and repack our bags before our flight.

Nothing the hotel could do. Brooks was a good town for any big bucket shops uou need, but the local farms had spread slurry (watery manure for fertiling) on the fields which could be smelt for miles, ok once the wind changed the next day

Room was fine; indirect lighting was a nice feature; complimentary coffee was available in the lobby; staff were pleasant.

Noise from nearby cars in the parking lot in the early morning was a moderate disturbance (e.g., revving of a truck engine for reasons unknown); oddly, the lobby was difficult to find given the absence of good signage.

Beds are very comfortable, room has a lot of space, ample plugs/charging outlets and there is a fridge and microwave. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant on site is a nice convenience.

Nothing really. They could use a movie station or two because the channel options are not anything that I typically watch, but that's just me.

Our room was very clean and comfortable and they are pet friendly.

There is no coffee or tea in the rooms so tried the coffee and tea at reception. The coffee was good but lukewarm in the thermos. The tea options were very good but the water was lukewarm. The other guests were very noisy outside until late (on a Sunday night).

Price was great. Not much to look at outside but the room was renovated and clean. Beds and pillows were great. Lots of pillows and beds so comfortable. TV was a nice size. No carpets was a great feature. Lighting behind bed was a great feature. Parking in front of your door was wonderful and convenient. Air conditioning was good.

Need clothes hangers, iron, better soap and shampoos. Coffee, tea in rooms would be nice. For the top floor, maybe a notice to be courteous to people below you. For our last night, the person above us was walking up and down all hours of the night and he/she was not quiet. Quite heavy footed as well. Kept waking us up throughout the night.

There was no breakfast with this booking, but you get a $5.00 certificate to the attached Ricky's Restaurant, which has good food. The motel was good for the money. It is a motel that I think gets some rough treatment at times from clients, but it was a comfortable accommodation, and was recently renovated.

There was a bit of a musty, or old building, smell or something in the lobby.

Really clean and cheery room. Very quiet, which was great because the walls are thin. Staff was super-friendly and very welcoming to my dog. I stay at Motel 6 in the US because they are so pet-friendly and the rooms are modern and clean. So happy to find the same in Brooks.

Breakfast? What breakfast? I found the location odd and inconvenient. In behind a restaurant. I had a truck and trailer and had to park on a lot not belonging to the motel. Also, the lobby - which is inside a bar (???) is not obvious. I noticed lots of people driving slowly around looking for it.

the room was clean, linen and pillows that i had requests also clean, air conditioning in perfect condition, reasonable price, room was equipped with fridge and microwave which is so important for guests.

location and price were excellent. Clean and very comfortable.

the attached restaurant was a disaster. We waited almost an hour for our breakfast to arrive. one order was completely wrong and cold. The other had vegetables that were going bad. We left without eating either.

We like the location and the room was great.

The floor of the room was obviously not clean. We fond a giant spider web (with a giant spider as well) in the corner of the room. How can you have clean the floor and not seing it? We also find that the hotel should clean the parking more often to pick up all the cigarette buds.
