Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Drumheller

Very clean, large room with comfy beds, even nice smelling linens! My room had a new TV with great lineup of cable channels plus fridge and microwave.

I don't like that checkout is 10am - a fact that wasn’t mentioned upon checking in (but at least they were thoughtful and didn't knock at my door till nearly 11am). I resent that this property charged a $100 deposit on my TD Visa Debit ?? meaning I had to visit the front desk prior to leaving to get my refund. Angry owners felt entitled to loudly yell, curse and argue with me ad nauseum. Shame on you! but in this review I stuck to the facts.

Two queen size beds were firm and clean. The extra sink outside the closed off bathroom was a bonus for two people getting ready. the room was nice and spacious. Fridge and microwave included an added bonus. location good for walking anywhere in Drumheller. breakfast provided had all you need to start your day.

Not a lot of parking right by the room but the hotel was full the night we stayed. we felt the price of $179 was a little high for an econolodge in a small town.

Lovely staff. Breakfast minimal but still good for me, toast, bagels, butter, jam, peanut butter, cheese slices, yogourt, hard boiled eggs, cereal, juice, coffee. Liked having Keurig in room. Basic room, comfortable bed, dated but clean. It was a place to sleep.

Sometimes street noises--mufflers and motorcycles but did not notice during night.

The hotel is located at the center of downtown. Shops like restaurants, shoppers and pub are walking distance. The rooms are clean and complete with amenities. Fresh towels and coffee are available in the room. The hotel offers free breakfast. It is a family friendly budget hotel.

The refrigerator is not properly cooling.

 The parking was a little difficult but overall we had a great stay, and it is nice and close to lots of different food options, as well as a shopping store as well as convenient stores in the near vicinity. There is a bar and Grill across the road and plenty to look at throughout the downtown area.

The location was very quiet and pleasant. Staff were more than accommodating when I had a late check in and then accidentally locked myself out of the room. The room was clean and had updated furnishings and flooring, and was a good size. A/C worked very well.

Not enough parking in the lot, didn't like having to park my vehicle on the street. Beds were okay but the pillows were really small and uncomfortable.

The breakfast included was great. With young kids, I don't have to rush to prepare or go to a restaurant. Two double and one twin bed perfect for a family of 5.

Not sure if that's the heat or water system, it kept making clicking sound on the ceiling of the room. We were on the second floor (top floor, room 204). It's quite annoying.

We are a family of five with young kids. Staff was very helpful. We arrived late on a busy night and the front desk staff walked around the lot to find us a parking spot—we really appreciated that. Room was clean. I wasn’t expecting the mini fridge and microwave—they were a nice surprise. Despite a full hotel and downtown location it was very quiet. The hotel set up an extra bed for us, and my kids slept really well here. Breakfast is basic cold continental (cereal, toast, yogurt, boiled eggs, apples). Good wifi connection.

Room availability for a family of 5 with all services. It is a practical and accessible hotel for the purposes we were looking for.

Parking was full but we were lucky to find an available spot. The stairs were a bit slippery and the first step (from top-down) was bigger than the rest, so it could get tricky to step down.

The owners were very helpful. They gave me a room close to the office when they noticed I had a bad knee. The lodge is across from a shoppers and from a great restaurant and pub. The room was big with a nice sofa and a comfortable bed.
