Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Edmonton N - St. Albert, an IHG Hotel

Pretty well everything as it is a fairly new facility. The breakfast was. Very good and keep warm. The front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Yes I would stay again. I also like that it is pet friendly should I have to travel with my pet.

The fact that I don’t have any problems to relate to my stay with this facility should be your answer.

location was good and bed was comfortable

car dealership beside was doing snow removal from 3am to 5 am. is there not noise bylaw?? pool area was freezing cold you could not enjoy a swim it was so cold and hot tub had so much chlorine it burned your eyes just to be in there, I think someone needs to review procedures/ amounts needed.

I liked the pool are kids had a great time! the rooms were a good size clean!

the ladies serving breakfast were rude and over obsessive with tidying cleaning wiping if you have kids you know things don’t stay clean in the moment wait till there done filling there plates then keep doing what you wanna do didn’t feel really welcoming at all!

Hotel was very clean and staff was very polite and helpful! Kids loved using the pool and hot tub. Beds were clean and comfy. Breakfast was good but could use a little more selection

The location was a little out of our way. We went for a dance competition and if you arrived back after 9 there was absolutely no parking.

Very handy location for our training sessions. Clean, relatively quiet-being immediately adjacent to a busy highway can be noisy. Mini kitchen was handy.

Hard to get into the parking lot. More selection of hot breakfast for those gluten free would be appreciated. Remind staff that it is not necessary to replace the bar soap every day.

the breakfast was good, the room was good, clean and bright. the pool was great, I didn't like the location of the washrooms but that is minor. I enjoyed the Watkins products in the bathroom. All staff were friendly and helpful when needed. All in all it was a great stay.

not enough parking, I came back late Saturday night and there was no parking. I parked in a muddy area and got my new flip flops pretty dirty and my car is full of mud. With that said the front desk was great and told me I could park in the lot next to the hotel so it really was not a big deal. I had to pay a $250 deposit because I didn't have a credit card (it's only $50 with cc). I didn't mind, I just didn't know that prior to arrival. Luckily I had the money but if I didn't I am not sure what would have happened. In the end it was no big deal but I think that is a bit excessive and should be clearer when booking (I didn't read the fine print so it may say that and I just wasn't aware).

The location was great. The room was very nice. I especially liked all the lights and big window. The shades on the window kept out the light and it is probably one of the better rooms we stayed in.

Even though breakfast had a lot of choices, the quality of the eggs were terrible.

Comfortable, clean beds. Loved having a choice of hard or soft pillows. The room was very clean and large. Breakfast was great!

Need to get rid of the automatic bathroom light. The light was coming on when we were 5 feet or more away from the bathroom. So when one of us, went close to the bathroom or to the bathroom, the bright light would wake up the other person. Also the flashing light on the smoke detector was bright and annoying. The hot tub was down. It's one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. Was disappointed.

The people working there were very pleasant. You could tell they the hotel had not been opened long. Some of the staff was not fully trained or had full understanding of procedures.

The hot tub was not working when we checked. I heard another person who was staying there asked if it was working and the reception told him yes. He said there was yellow tape around it. The receptionist said the maintenance man would check it. When we got in at 8:30 pm it still was not working.

Breakfast was great! There was no shortage of anything, food was hot and there was always a worker around if you needed anything. The rooms were very clean and all staff were amazing! Anytime we are back in Edmonton we will be staying in this hotel. Also the pool and towels were always stocked and place was very clean.
