Avalon Inn

I loved the location, the ease of booking and communication was fantastic. The rooms were clean and smell free, even allowing pets/ dogs!

The breaker kept going off in the room and having to reset to use the A/C and microwave at the same time. Also, the way the site sells its room is a bit misleading as the site allows pets but then charges you for each per instead of including it in the cost....also the way the pictures of the rooms are viewed when booking makes you think the room has different amenities than you have. The price, though, was very reasonable and the staff were very accommodating.

Comfortable, quiet and spacious room. Had all the amenities that were promised including fridge and microwave. Coffee maker worked well. Bed was comfortable and the wifi was decent. Can’t ask for much more than that!

Toilet flushed a little slowly and the tub drained a little slowly but these were trifles.

Great location, the room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked well...air conditioning, bath, shower and the kitchenette was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and our 2 small dogs were happy too! The room was a bit on the smaller side, but very functional. All the staff were very helpful and easy to deal with.

It was a little pricey but since Covid, everything is!

Good location, pet friendly, close to restaurants, shops and public beach in one direction and dog beach in the other direction.

Bathroom exhaust fan would not turn off. Advised the office who said it was humidity activated but as he had just checked in there was no reason for it to be on. As it would not turn off we unplugged it so we could have a quiet night.

Pleanty of room for family of 5. Great location, 10 min walk down main street past a variety of stores to the beach. Most everything you need is within a 10 min walk in any direction. A 2 night stay & we didn't use our vehicle until departure.

All was good, except for the comfort of the beds & especially the fold out bed. All 5 of us woke up sore after a 2 night stay & the fold out bed in our room should be taken to garbage.

A quiet, tidy hotel right in the heart of town, just steps to the beach, shops and restaurants. The room was bigger than I expected and up to my wife's standards for cleanliness. The shaded "courtyard" was a welcome surprise as the temperature was well over 30 degrees. I would definitely stay again on my next trip through Osoyoos.

A little more light in the room would be an improvement and the hairdryer/outlet did not work.

This was my second stay in Avalon In! First time in 2019 I was alone and happy with the room that had comfortable bed, ensuite bathroom, tv and small kitchenette! But this time it was important for us to be able to bring our cat; this room came with separate bedroom that has 2 comfortable queen beds and kitchen that had stove and all pots and pans so we cooked most of our meals - great savings! We also like location of the property close to beach , restaurants, shops- we will be back! A/C work great!

The price is great for an inn that offers everything you need for a short stay and the room is pretty spacious. I would highly recommend this inn if you need a place to stay within a budget.

The only thing I want to note is the shower head, which didn't flow the best. Still was able to clean myself after a busy day, though.

Great value for the money. Nice, clean room and friendly staff.

Furnishings and decor were a bit dated but for the money, great value.

The fellow who checked us in was very nice. The hotel was in a great location to walk to the beach or cross the border in to the US. There was several places to eat very close. The rooms were clean.

Nothing really-the hotel could use some updates but honestly it was a great value for the price we paid
