Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Penticton

Very clean and spacious rooms. High ceilings give good air circulation and feeling of spaciousness. Air conditioning worked very well. Pool and hot tub were well maintained. Convenient EV Charger at the front and an electric scooter stand which was handy. Weekend front desk staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly in spite of having to manage a number of different customers at the same time.

They seemed a bit stretched in terms of staff. The staff were efficient and working hard but there weren't enough to handle the busy weekend customers. Breakfast was often out of something, long lines at the front, long waits for pool towels.

Great location for travel to and from Penticton. Seconds off highway 97, minutes from the beach and local attractions. Close to shopping for groceries, pharmacy and supplies. The room was very comfortable, quiet and had a lovely view of the sports field which was busy most days with some activity. Great, friendly staff and a nice clean facility.

The continental breakfast was good but very busy with limited or no seating, and the garbage produced from all of the prepackaged jam, butter, syrup, utensils, plates, cups etc., could have been greatly reduced had there been recycling. The parking lot slots were way too narrow for all the SUV's and 4x4's and I was horrified to discover my passenger side door had been dented by the white SUV parked next to it overnight but of course, it was long gone in the morning. How people can do that abd then just drive away is beyond me!

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were above what was expected. I loved the extra features.

There was a sports team staying at the hotel the same time as us. There was no management by the staff. Kids were running around completely unattended. Screaming and running around in the pool unattended. The adults were scattered across the lobby and breakfast room. They were loud and drinking alcohol. The staff did not seem to care. It was only when I brought it up to a staff member that it was illegal for the team to be drinking in the hotel lobby, was anything even addressed.

The staff was once again very pleasant and most helpful. The breakfast available was quite varied, which surprised me. My friend and I both thoroughly enjoyed it.

There was a bit of a problem with the heating this time but the staff brought us a small heater which solved our problem. What I don't like are the additional taxes, which I know are not of the hotel's making.

Breakfast was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed it.

Bed mattress was quite soft. Booking .com screwed up our reservation with Mariot. Mariel at the front desk was excellent. She calmed us down, made my wife and I feel like everything was under control and she was on top of the situation. She was very, very professional , resolved everything with Booking >com and made us feel welcome each and every time we saw her. Cudos to an great employee. We will be back and will recommend your facility to our friends and family.

Fast friendly service. Facilities were clean and well taken care of.

That Children were booked on all floors and they were very noisy and disruptive. It would have been a more pleasurable stay had they been contained to the first floor where others would not have been disturbed.

Breakfast was great but they need to stop using the disposable plates, cups and cutlery. Not good for the environment and it cheapens the dining area.

They had a small fire in 2 rooms causing smoke throughout the hall. Luckily the smell was only faintly in our room. Security issue- they should close the exit door from the swimming pool- they left it ajar our whole stay so anyone could access the pool and common areas

The breakfast was great. The cleanliness of the building was exceptional. We travelled from Laughlin, Nevada, and some of the rooms we stayed in were pretty smelly and grubby. So it was such a treat to walk into such cleanliness.

If I only had one complaint, it would be the guy above us had his elephant shoes on, and did a lot of banging around.

Being a single female and being assigned a room on the ground floor right beside an exit door. I asked to move and was told it was possible. I was 2 minutes late to breakfast on the Monday and all of the food was already packed away. Staff cleaned up way before closing time My hotel bill not matching what I quoted in my reservation and no explanation given as to why there was an overcharge.

Comfy beds, extremely well kept and clean, decent breakfast.

Pet fee was not shared until after booking ($20 a day). Pet friendly rooms are only on ground floor. I specifically requested a quiet room and was given a room opposite the ice machine and near an exit - fortunately was able to request a transfer and get a much quieter room on day 2 of our stay.
