Holiday Inn Vancouver Airport Richmond, an IHG Hotel

Quick shuttle very late from the airport. They gave us a few toiletries that were missing with our luggage! The room was quiet and comfortable modern, neutral decor. The bed/bedding was great! Nice amount of lighting and comfortable chairs, side table plug ins, adjustable temperature in the room. Wifi, coffee and tea available, good size bathroom, adequate towels and soaps. Plug with bathroom night light was appreciated. Breakfast buffet included was excellent. Very helpful friendly staff.

Our view was the back of a car dealership, but the hotel location was handy otherwise.

The staff were very welcoming and they even let us check in early. (I requested it when booking but didn't expect it as a guarantee but they somehow had a room ready to check in 3 hrs before usual check in time). There was not really a view from the room as it was on the 2nd floor, but I guess people who come there don't really care about that (neither did we) because most of us go there for convenience - closer to the airport. And CONVENIENT it definitely was! Super clean, no bad smells or anything, and room was spacious and even had a office desk on wheels (and one without) which we could move closer to the bed. Room was air conditioned. I couldn't believe it was just a 3 star hotel seeing how great it was. And they have a free shuttle service to the airport too.

The price was a bit too high (but I assumed it was the lat minute prices) other than that everything was perfect.

Jasmine was very welcoming on our arrival and even though we were a little early she got us into our room, and remembered our names. The hotel was well located for our needs, and the shuttle to the airport was a definite bonus. We liked the breakfasts and the restaurant was not crowded so it was a quiet start to the days. Parking is easy, and secure, which was also very nice

Clean hotel and beautiful interior design in the lobby. Staff is great especially Ian at the front desk who provided us with excellent customer service. Very polite and Super helpful. I will definitely be staying here again.

The slight distance from the airport wasn't an issue because shuttle runs 24/7, and it's not that far. Bed, sheets and pillow are FANTASTIC, really comfortable and great for sleeping. Lots of lights in the room and a great desk - both good for work. Nice oversize chair with small table for light work, reading - means not *always* having to sit on the bed. Bathroom products pretty plain, no creams or anything special there but bathroom itself is a good size. Will definitely stay here again!

Would be nice to have complimentary bottled water in fridge. Better bathroom products - no cream or body gels, and what's there is pretty average.

The hotel was very good for an overnight stay between flights to/from Vancouver. The room was comfortable, the restaurant was fine - food better than I expected. Perhaps most important were the lovely staff.

We had a slight problem with the second person checking in first and early as somehow her name hadn't been notified to the front desk. It got sorted. Location - not something that can be changed, of course. You need a car or shuttle to get to the hotel, and it's not on a train route, although there are buses.

- friendly staff at the front desk - rooms look better in real life than in the photos shown on this site - amazing free shuttle service to international and domestic flights (driver helps you load your suitcases at the back) - unlimited free coffee pods - humongous scale at the lobby to weigh your suitcases (super useful) - hairdryer

The location and the friendly staff and restaurant made my stay one of the best. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The complimentary airport shuttle took all the stress out of my stay. The hotel staff made my stay fabulous. Plus the tour bus picked me up and dropped me back at the hotel.

Very nice hotel super clean modern and fresh. great room comfortable beds really helpful friendly staff both at the desk and room cleaning. Good facilities and there is an attached restaurant/bar that does great food for very reasonable prices location is ten minutes to the airport with bookable shuttle service (again friendly helpful driver) Richmond itself is very much a Chinese Canadian orientated area and there is a decent mall in the centre Richmond Mall you can reach easily by bus Number 410 for a couple of dollars Good food court with SE Asian choices as well as the usual stuff opposite the mall is a train connection to city of Vancouver you can walk to and from this to the hotel 30 minutes but its easier to first take the bus to get your bearings

Nothing this was a good stop over if your flying in/out of Vancouver and want easy access to the airport. It is not ideal if you want to travel into Vancouver as you will need trains and buses to get around.

Very quick check in and check out from friendly and competent staff. The room was surprisingly quiet considering it’s proximity to the international airport. A lovely clean and modern room with everything that had been advertised.

We had to unload all our luggage at the foyer as the car park does not have lift access. We thought this was strange and a little inconvenient particularly when leaving with multiple pieces of luggage.
