Holiday Inn Express and Suites Surrey, an IHG Hotel

Receptionist was helpful and attentive. Lobby was open and inviting. Automatic door,open and closes with no contact. Great selection of food for breakfast. Warm and delicious. Yummy coffee! I always love the modern furnitures and layout of Holiday Inn. Room was clean and well lit. They provided a good amount of closet storage with hangers. Beds were comfortable and pillows with either soft or firm. Modern electrical outlet,wireless and USB ports in most convenient location inside the room. Comfortable office chair and table. Strong wifi.   A kitchenette was handy for us with mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Carpet smells clean. Bathroom was spacious with ample counter space. Big mirror with back lights. I appreciate the toiletries refillable dispensers. Smelled amazing too! Fixtures were updated and clean.  Location was close to restaurants and shops, close to hwy exits and roads  Felt like a safe area.

Parking is a bit tight and limited. Room was not sound proof. We can hear noise from the ceiling and hallway. TV was outdated. Slow reception. Remote hard to use, may need a new battery. Bathroom curtain need changing. It smelled moldy.

The breakfast was very good, delicious and lots of variety!

We would've appreciated knowing that the pool was closed before our arrival. Our daughter LOVES swimming! Even though we were offered a reimbursement of the cost to go to a different pool at another facility, we declined b/c we were only there for one night, and didn't want to be inconvenienced by going out again. I think a slight reduction for our one night stay would have been preferable.

Breakfast for 2 adults in the morning is amazing and with the 2 of us it felt like it was easily worth $20. We are always tickled and delighted by the automatic pancake maker. The jacuzzi sweet was fantastic, with only mild complaints. I've stayed here twice now, and have been very happy both times.

The jacuzzi jets weren't super great. They felt weak and the button on the tub itself didn't seem to do anything even when we activated the switch on the wall.

This place is great! The front desk people are always patient and friendly, the new hot breakfast they have is amazing everything you would want for breakfast they got. THE PANCAKE MACHINE IS GENIOUS. It's an all around a 10 for me. Very clean, cozy, just a great experience for everyone. Thank you for your hospitality! Holiday Inn is a must stay!

There's nothing I can say about this place that's bad, it's a great place to rest your head and relax 😌

the king suite had a weird layout. was extremely hard to watch tv if the couch was pulled out as a bed, or watching it from the king bed. and the pool was closed for renovations, which wasn’t great.

Amazing breakfast. Couldnt ask for more. The cheese omelet was delicious. Very quite area and you feel very relaxed. A lot of parking space available. the Staff was also wonderful. My room had everything I needed.

Nothing. This stay was worth my money. Wish I knew about IHG rewards then I could collected some points.

Convenient location with easy access to freeway but also within short walking distance from walking path, stores and restaurants. Also an easy drive to Coquitlam and Richmond, and just 30 minutes to the US-Canadian border, and many local and regional parks.

Very centrally located and close to most places in Vancouver, Surrey, and Delta. Great value for the price, with good breakfast to boot.

The rooms facing 104th ave can get some traffic noise earlier in the evening but quietens later in the night.

The front desk staff are the ones who you see first upon arrival & again as you leave. They set the tone as they can actually have an effect on how you start your day or head back in after a busy day. My stay lasted a week and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. Always calling out a greeting and engaging me in light conversation as they knew my reason for being there was in order to deal with a difficult situation. They certainly made me feel “at home”. Lance, who worked the evening shift was very kind and went above & beyond.

I would have liked a business centre where I could access to a printer.

The location was great for where we needed to be. The staff was great and especially the fellow who was on reception when we came in. The breakfast offered was also very welcoming.

Unfortunately we came during spring break and the pool was in renovation. Very disappointing for the kids. Also the breakfast should be held until about 10:30 on weekends.
