Residence Inn by Marriott Moncton

The location was great as it is at the downtown area. The food was also good with lots of options. Would be ideal for longer stay. The parking is okay, high ceiling and can park truck easily. The room is good for a family of 4. with own sink and living room. With a nice closet. very clean space

the stairs on the basement parking will only direct you to the entrance. we thought it will be directed inside the hotel. the basement parking also doesn't have any elevators/ lift. we had a hard time bringing our luggages upstairs. the breakfast area tends to be too crowded, but you can just bring your food in your room.

This place is in the downtown and very close to all administrative work which we wanted to do before finalising our permanent accommodation. Also this hotel is well located with parks and river, so perfect blend of everything we were looking for. Also staff is very very helpful, specially we wanted to travel to Fredericton and were clueless...but hotel staff guided us very well :)

Almost a same breakfast spread everyday (we stayed for 9 days, so may be repetitive for us), also they do not have restaurant which is available for 24x7, may be because they provide Kitchen in their rooms.

The check in persons were so friendly and courteous. We were only going to stay one night on our travels and decided last minute to spend an extra night to sight see more.. No problem. Great restaurants in area within walking distance, driving easy to popular sights. Being downtown near the river within walking distance to see the tides in and out was amazing. Staff super 👌

The pool area seemed like it could gave used some TLC. In particular the hot tub. Pool was fine.

the room was perfect for the number of guest staying together. the room was big enough for two children to run around and be children. thank you for that. it went really well

I wish there was more parking but I managed. I also wish the pool was a bit bigger with a water slide for the kids and maybe a little splash park. if you’re looking to better your hotel, I suggest that! more families would love that for their children. something fun for them to do while staying close to their rooms.

The room is very good, with a sofa bed, an incredible mini kitchen and beautiful lamps! The breakfast was the best in all respects, fresh food, well served, ready made waffle dough, bacon, eggs.

The indication of how to enter the hotel is very bad. We walked around the block, asked for information, I found it very impractical due to the traffic in the area.

Where to start... Residence Inn saved us from an AirBnb with a mouse in it :( - we were lucky they had a room for my family of four for the rest of that week. The staff, from checkin to even past checkout, were incredibly friendly and helpful - they let me store my two bikes in a special location next to the lobby, among other kindnesses. They also stored some of our luggage before we could check into our next rental. We had a studio unit with a King bed and a pull-out couch and it worked well for two adults and two kids. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped for cooking family meals (full-sized fridge!). Big shower. Big comfy King bed. The kids loved the pool. Mom (me) loved the self-serve laundry room. Location is unbeatable - right downtown, close to restaurants and shops and to the amazing waterfront trail. Breakfast was great - the waffle station was a big hit with the littles. This is the single best hotel stay I have ever had!!!

reception staff, domestic staff and breakfast staff all very friendly and helpful. They were a credit to the organization. the staff went out of their way to meet my needs. the room was lovely and well equipped.

If I have to select anything couch in living room could have been firmer and more supportive.

Rooms are always spacious and clean. Pool facility is well maintained. staff is amazing, very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast staff are on point, refilling buffet items quickly and quick to clean tables as guests leave.

Pool towels ran out later one afternoon. parking lot is small and cramped and spaces fill up quickly. too bad the hotel can’t make use of the parking lot adjacent to its own for overflow.

Staff, especially the reception manager and breakfast staff were super friendly. The kitchen was very well equipped and we really appreciated the fact the room had a couple of dishwasher tablets! The location of this hotel is really good, very close to lots of good bars and the tidal bore which we watched each day we were there. Would definitely recommend.

Paying for parking, that said I never like it when I’m at a hotel so I haven’t judged them on that.

Parking was terrible. No mention of additional cost on booking.com and even if you paid there was no guarantee there were spots. Parking each night was a nightmare and their lot is poorly designed. Dead end lanes and need to back out if underground many times. They need to either keep track of spots or find more additional parking.
