Hampton Inn & Suites Belleville

At first I was a bit surprised about how far the hotel was away from the downtown core of Belleville, however, also enjoyed the fact that it was a bit away from the busy strip. The hotel room was clean, modern, with amazingly comfortable beds. The breakfast offered a variety of options, and provided us with a good meal at the start of our day. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and quick to serve. The staff in the kitchen were friendly, and open. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We did not use the pool or exercise room, so I have no comment there. it was also great that the hotel was so close to the 401, both for our arrival and departure heading back to southwestern Ontario. We also enjoyed the proximity and easy access to Prince Edward County, which is one of our targets when we stay in Belleville.

This comment is for all hotels in general - hotels seem to be set up for 1-2 night stays. We were staying at the hotel for 5 days/nights, and would have liked comfortable chairs to sit in when spending time in the room. There was only an office chair for the desk. Also, staying for 5 days, there was only limited shelf and no closet space, which meant living out of my suitcase.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was extremely clean and very quiet. The breakfast had good choices to choose from, No bacon but I forgive them for that. The location is ideal, right off the 401. We (husband and I) spent a relaxing weekend there.

Really have no complaint. Only a suggestion to add bacon to the menu? All else was amazing. Wonderful staff, very clean and quiet place.

Very friendly staff. Clean and beautiful room, left a very good impression. The breakfast was delicious, the kids loved making their own waffles!

Breakfast was on cardboard plates and cups - it is not convenient to eat, it is not environmentally friendly and spoils the taste of good food. The location was not the best - there were no places to eat nearby.

Let me start off by saying, what an amazing experience we had booking with Hampton Inn. Our small family of 3 decided to visit Prince Edward county and stayed the nights in Belleville (only 35-45 mins drive). The staff at Hampton Inn were extremely friendly and helpful. When we required more tissue paper and garbage bags they brought it up immediately (contactless). The breakfast options actually exceeded my expectation. I am a frequent traveler and the usual bed & breakfast options have toast, jam and yogurt. Here though they had english muffins with eggs, fresh waffles and more. Awesome! If we ever come back, we will visit again. Thank you for a memorable stay

Everything was great

The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were spacious. It's located a short drive to casino, mall and restaurants.

The water pressure in shower wasn't very strong. And there were not enough tables in the breakfast area to accommodate to families.

The hotel was impecable and the staff super friendly. Due to Covid, we optes not to have housekeeping during our stay, but the staff was super helpful every time we neede something replenished.The breakfast was very good considering Covid, they do the best they can to provide a variety of thinga that imply minimal contact (pre-bagged boiled eggs, breakfast sandwiches, muffins and assorted pastries, etc). Nice pool for a rainy day and nice gym!

Only two details that could have been better: the pillows were not extremely comfy and same for the sofa bed. It needs something to prevent feeling the springa in your back. Maybe a foam top or some additional padded cover. However, this will NOT stop me from coming back or recomending this hotel to friends and family!

Location was convenient. Facilities updated. Breakfast was very good. Staff very nice and accommodating.

The first time we experienced no service in room (housekeeping cleaning unless staying for 5 days) and this was a bit disappointing. Having handheld shower would have made the stay better.

The bedding is great, we had really good nights. It's clean and modern. Fridge and microwave in the room. Breakfast is served in take out boxes due to covid restrictions. We've been awakened by the fire alarm at 6 am for a real fire at the 2nd floor, and I must say that the staff in charge did a great job. It must not be funny to live it when it happens on your shift, but they did it with high level of professionalism. Anyway, it lasted 30 minutes with firefighters on site before we could return to our rooms, so wasn't a big deal, we can even consider it as" entertainment for clients". :D

Maybe a bit too far from downtown or malls. No restaurant around, the hotel is alone in the "middle of nowhere"

The breakfast was good. Have I seen bigger and better options? Yes. Can this breakfast be better? Yes

I wish they had kids play room. The chlorine in the pool affected my husband's eyes for over a day. I thought it was just him, but no, my friend also had the same issue. They need to clean that pool more instead of loading it with chlorine.

Location is great close to 401 hwy but far enough away to be quiet. Breakfast was provided with option of taking back to your room appreciated at this time. Accessible room well thought out all ammenities needed especially power door button in room roll in shower stall with hand held or high showerhead. Built in fold away seating in shower. I would have no problem bringing my 91 year old mother who is in a wheelchair here
