Thriftlodge Cochrane

We didn't use the complimentary Breakfast. One we are in Covid times, so we try to avoid unnecessary interaction and two, the dinner the night before at Terry's Steak House was not very good. No truckers came in, which also tells a story. Was really good in years past, thjey must have lost their good cook. Too bad. We had friends staying at other hotels during our stay and we told them about our poor meal. They went elsewhere as we did the next three nights.

We did tell the person in charge about a missing wing nut holding the toilet seeat down, but they didnt repair it during our stay. hopefully they do for the next renters.

location was awesome great friendly staff great food from restraunt price was alright

i had to bring my heater in out of my sled trailer poor quality for heat and do away with two little fridges use one big one and put at least a setting of 4 for utensils and a couple pots

Definitely value for the money. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff accommodated room change due to lingering odour of smoke or dampness in first room offered. Also allowed us to prebook same room for our return a couple days later.

We had a situation with the thermostat in our first room and they responded right away to moving us to the next room. This was our second time staying there and even though they were completely booked up they kindly accommodated my Mom's request for a room close to the office so she could feel safer. We were given many extra towels and washcloths. Each morning it was nice to pop over to the restaurant for some breakfast and on the mornings it was tough for us both to go over the host helped me pack up milk, and toast to take back to our room. We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant for dinner, but the smells that filled the parking lot were very enticing. It's on our must do list for the next trip.

I only have one suggestion as 2 women travelling alone it would have been nice to have a chain lock on the door, just as extra security when sleeping. In no way am I saying the area around the Thriftlodge is dangerous in any way what so ever. We are always extra cautious when travelling alone.

Very nice staff. Motel is well located near visitor center and key intersection to go to downtown or retail street. Clean and comfortable.

Price is high, but it's market normal for this region.

I thought that the Thriftlodge was a very nice, clean, quiet place to stay. The location is great, right close to a lot of good places to eat. The rooms are very large, well equipped and comfortable.

Honestly I thought everything was excellent!

The property was nice and quiet and located right by a couple of good eating choices and a 24/7 convenience store. The staff was friendly and very helpful 😊

Price was right for a quick overnight stay. Located right off the highway and close to everything one would need.

Bed sheets and towels with stains and really strong smell of sanitizers

Conveniently located. Close to the Polar Bear Rehabilitation centre. Clean room. Excellent staff.

Bathroom needed minor repairs but was usable.
