Four Seasons Hotel Montreal

Great 5 star hotel choice in Montreal and exactly what you'd expect from a Four Seasons Hotel. It's of course more expensive then it's competitors, but if you're looking for the extra special experience, it's well worth it. Probably the simplest, but most convenient feature was the tablet that lets you manage your usual room needs without ever having to call or go to the reception, including a nifty Live Chat feature.

Like with any hotel, don't expect perfection - there were a couple of issues when I first entered the room, but luckily they fixed it ASAP. Watch out for the entrance though, it's a little confusing - in order to check in you need to walk into the small entryway and then take the first elevators you see to the 3rd floor. The reception is there. If ever you're lost though, you can always just ask any of the staff there and they'll guide you.

The room was incredible. They thought of everything that one could possibly want in a hotel room. The lighting system was even next level. I could be in bed and turn off all the lights with one touch. The curtains could be opened and closed automatically also from the bed. The bed was super comfortable, the sheets were crisp and cool. The bathroom had a great soaking tub and a separate shower. Everything functioned really well! The closets were well designed. I really loved everything about my room. The restaurant was not that great though unfortunately. And one morning at breakfast I had terrible service. My coffee arrived after I was finished with my meal. Other than that the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable.

We loved the location. Around the corner from Saint Catherine street where you can find lots of shopping and restaurants. The room was luxurious yet cozy. The floor we were on was very quiet. And the scent in the entire building is to die for! Sadly, the spa was out of stock:(. The staff was exceptional. We were there for my son's 11th birthday and they went out of their way to make him feel special. Akaash at the entrance was great. Vinish (sp? apologies) was so accommodating. We will definitely return!

Great location. Convenient to downtown Montreal. High end finishes in room - expected in a luxury hotel. Friendly staff. Quiet floor. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Concierge staff was also very helpful when handling special requests (e.g. gift basket delivery to room).

Cleaning staff were delayed; had to call twice to get fresh towels and garbage was not emptied. Valet service was also slow a couple of times when we retrieved the car from underground parking. View was just okay, even though we were on the top floor.

The gentlemen at the front door were extremely friendly, professional and always attentive. I also very much appreciated the convenience of communicating through the four seasons app. The chat in the application was extremely helpful and always very prompt.

Upon arrival there was a line up to check in and only 1 associate was working the front desk. We had to wait approx 12 min in line before we were helped. I can appreciate it was busy; however, having more associates at the front desk would be helpful. There were another couple of associates at the front desk but we were told they were busy (they were on computer also at the front desk). I think it’s important to deal with your guests in person first.

Style, location, service were top-notch. Amenities in the room were excellent and so was the mini-bar. Comfortable bed and bathroom space. Lovely colors throughout the building!

Not the hotel directly but the restaurant Marcus was lacking. Poor-ish wine selection, the wagyu steak was way overdone esp when we asked for rare to medium-rare (a crime in my book); The starters didn't really compliment anything on the mains (e.g. just popular and, respectfully, boring items and dishes in main steam restaurants that aim to please).

Room was good size, bathroom had separate shower and bath which I enjoyed, good facilities for making a tea or coffee Room service was excellent fast and courteous. Covid testing carried out in your room was a plus.

Room service menu was very limited especially if you stay for any period of time. The menu did not cater for vegetarians - not all of us like pasta. I had a bit of a problem extending my check out time.

The only thing that could be better is maybe bar - it was good but for my taste it was not cosy enough.

likely montreal’s best hotel: -beautiful room and premises -delicious room service menu including freshly pressed orange juice (and nearly 24/7) -comfortable bed with nice pillows -quite clean -pleasant service staff -great restaurant with a sultry soundtrack
