Convenient location, availability of a kitchenette, bed was confortable

There were a number of lightbulbs that did not work in the bathroom and the bedside lamp. The air conditioning unit was incredibly noisy. Lack of watchable television

Location just on the edge of the Vieux ville Montreal was excellent, especially given the price. Parking was rated as difficult by other reviewers - I didnt find it so. It is in an underground parking facility around the corner from Hotel Roberval and you need to have a car < 1.8m tall, so not for you in a full size SUV. It is tight, but manageable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and while it is in the middle of the city, unless you have the windows open, the surrounding noise isnt that intrusive. Price was great. Breakfast was basic continental - no cooked items - but very adequate.

Breakfast could have been a little better - but you arent paying 4* prices here, so OK.

The property is clean & elevator is quick. The room is a bonus cause it is a studio with queen bed and bed cover as well as sheets is white. Cause it’s a studio, I thought it would be tight to move around. It had a kitchenette, a dinette, a sofa bed, two closet, a dresser and a charming balcony with wroth iron railings. It feels romantic. We spent a few times chatting in the balcony. The bed is comfy, my husband slept well so do I. The room itself looked chic with its ash grey hardwood flooring. We have no complaints. Noise outside the street is not noticeable. The hallways are quiet too. Big bang was breakfast included. Everything we want to eat, they have it. It’s not even mentioned in their website.

They only have body wash/shampoo in the shower.

The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Went out of his way.

I was charged a deposit of $100 upon checking in. This was very upsetting and gave a bad impression of the hotel's quality. Luckily the day clerk was able to refund the deposit immediately when I checked out.

The room was excellent and the bed was really comfy. We got a queen suite with a kitchen and we were supplied with everything to be able to cook our own meals! The front desk clerk was super helpful and spoke clear English so that was a bonus. We walked everywhere and found that nothing was really out of our walking distance. Let me add that we are used to being on our feet all day so walking for over an hour to get to places wasn't too bad for us, but it's in a super central location so anything basic you should need is less than a 10 minute walk away.

The only thing I didn't really like was breakfast, it was very basic and the croissant I ate wasn't very soft but for what I paid I wasn't expecting anything exquisite. The toast and jam with a hard boiled egg and juice was just fine for me to get my day started.

Hotel placement is the best for tourism since it's located at the subway station's intersection, so you can reach out to any part of the city in no time. The room was nice and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel also provides a free breakfast each morning which consists of all the necessities to start a productive day (eggs, tea/coffee, fresh pastries, etc). The staff is extremely friendly and accessible. We left some belongings at the hotel and they were a great help in sending those back to us. Overall, we are fully satisfied with the hotel and are considering staying there on our next trip to Montreal.

The beds were comfy and clean, so too was the bathroom. The room was updated so it was quite modern. I also liked that the kitchenette in the room came equipped with all that was needed for a stay over- glasses, plates, tea cups, knives, pots etc. extremely convenient. Plus there was an iron and ironing board in the room. The wifi was strong and staff was pleasant.

The breakfast was very basic, lots of carbs and bread- zero fruits. I did not like that they did not indicate on their website that: - A $100.00 deposit was required for our non-smoking room. - We were not allowed to pay the deposit by cash- if we did, we would need to pay $250 instead. - Although the staff that initially checked us in had stated that we would have been refunded the deposit within 2-3 days- at check out we were told that it would take 7 business days. This is madness. - They need to provide a toaster to warm the croissants.

Great value for money. Room with 2 queen beds was perfect for my adult daughter and I. Spacious room. comfy beds. Good bathroom. Everything you need for a city stay. Double windows helped keep the room reasonably quiet. AC was welcome - bit noisy to leave on at night. The breakfast (included) was plentiful. Perfect location to explore the city.

TV seemed useless. Poor reception and no streaming capability. Not a big deal but can be nice to watch a movie after big day exploring the city.

Stayed for 3 nights with a friend for a 3 day WWE weekend. Cooked in the suite for breakfasts and a lunch. Was pleasantly surprised to find dishes, pots/pans, and cutlery in suite. Tremendous. More than enough bedding to make it up as you see fit. All appliances worked, as much or as little lighting as you wanted, coffee was tasty. Would stay again for sure.

For appx 24hrs from Friday mid day to Saturday mid day, there was a horrible stench in the elevator and main floor hallway. Not sure if it was compost/garbage/excrement/rotting meat. Whatever it was, it lasted appx 24hr. Was seemingly gone by Saturday night.
